I think koreans are great at keeping a continues flow of moves/popping sequence. They can go on forever but I really think they need to work on having signature taunts.
I'm not saying I don't like the stuff they present, its great don't get me wrong but I feel they could stand out more if they have punch lines per say. Its a fighting ring for poppers and I think it would be better if they can pack a punch on each taunt. Its too friendly.

The reason why he doesn't look that good is because he doesn't like to do battles. He's a performer, one who loves to steal the show and in a battle he can't do that. So, Hyun Joon isn't a battler, he's a performer and he's Godlike at what he does.
Popping Hyun Joon has a lot of crowd pleasing moves, and a lot of those moves of his can only impress people who aren't poppers themselves, like everyday people. Everyday people can't see the sloppyness of his popping, they can only see his insane crowd pleasing illusions.
I would say the only problem with your statement is that in any battle with popular figures, the masses are going to be the overwhelming judge of the outcome in any public discussion. In which sense, performance does become the battle.

i personally love NHJ style more then kid boogie. I think creativity is better then repetitive moves. kid boogie is good, but he doesnt surprise me

I met up with kid boogie last week on monday and his popping is on a whole different level. This guy is insane. I don't even know why he has to battle hyun joon, he has nothing to prove. I'm korean, and I love hyun joon as an entertainer... but his popping is NOWHERE close to kid boogie, slim boogie, pandora, waveomatic, shoon boog, aka kin, or anyone else. Even popping J is better than PHJ.

some of the poppers u name i must disagree and say are not lagues better then joon, waveomatic is a dope ass waver but ive seen hyun joon do every move that guy has done and would only say hes better at waving then joon, pandora she is a good tutter but if you really watch her she's not the cleanest popper, joon can even do leg movements ive seen that can match up to shoon boog

The reason why he doesn't look that good is because he doesn't like to do battles. He's a performer, one who loves to steal the show and in a battle he can't do that. So, Hyun Joon isn't a battler, he's a performer and he's Godlike at what he does.

Popping Hyun Joon has a lot of crowd pleasing moves, and a lot of those moves of his can only impress people who aren't poppers themselves, like everyday people. Everyday people can't see the sloppyness of his popping, they can only see his insane crowd pleasing illusions.

I would say the only problem with your statement is that in any battle with popular figures, the masses are going to be the overwhelming judge of the outcome in any public discussion. In which sense, performance does become the battle.
