  • I like that color on you..purple is your color..i use to have a ton of those alcohol wipes the exact same..well of course i got it free from the hospital lol i dunno but its just something about hospital products for babies that are better than the store..i remember before they put the "soothies" pacifier in the store they were only available in the hospital. OH you like desitin? i heard bad reviews on it and i tried it myself and it made my daughters rash worst, A&D was preferred more

  • This is great, i think a lot of new mothers/mothers to be will find this very useful. It's amazing that this information isn't really out there. Another thing is something to use for cradle cap, many babies get cradle cap, i just used olive oil overnight then brushed it out. Possibly gripe water or oval for gassy babies.

  • @LouLousLife thanks lou!!! thats my goal to help anyone i can...and share the info and tips i've learned these past 4 yrs with the 3 lil ones! and i totally agree with cradle cap! i was thinking to do a "how to" video on that actually! but i havent tried olive oil...i've only used baby oil, which is what my dr. reccomended...but thanks for adding that..i will mention that too! xoxo

  • Thank you so much! This was such a great video. Very very helpful tips!

  • @sheishell88 u are super sweet!! ur comment is what motivates me!!! i LOVE helping new moms!!!! and those baby stores are totally overwhelming...i wish i had someone tell me what i really needed to begin with! lol ur welcome!!! xoxo

  • fantastic tips, and yes the bathrobes are cute but kinda useless, too much hassle to put the baby in, and no time when you just want to get them out of the bath! i need to buy some thicker burp cloths this time around!

  • @louloumatou loulou! so glad u agree about the robes! lol and yes those thick cloths are awesome and the best i've used!

  • So interesting how things differ; in Canada parents are highly discouraged from putting alcohol on umbilical cords anymore.

Definitely love the hooded towels =) Love those.

  • @ObbsAndLala really??? omg did they say y? im curious! and yes hooded towels are awesome...wish i had one for myself! lol

  • @mommytipsbycole You just let in naturally fall off; alcohol being unnecessary to keep it dry.

  • Such a great helpful video! :)

  • @ErinandBaby hope it helps u erin! ur almost there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Greaaaaaaaaat video!!! :) one recommendation I have is recieving blankets! annnd, a nail file bc you arent supposed to cut your babies nails at first at least thats what my doctor said ( i knwo everyone is different:)) anywho..he told me that the nails are still paper thin and attached to the skin so you can file them down as opposed to clipping them

  • @mfoiles7 awweee thanks girl!! oh yes recieving blankets are awesome for swaddling! thanks for adding!!! i thnink i talked about that as an alternative to the "swaddler" in my baby item regrets vid and forgot to add it here lol. ur right the nails are so thin but i agree all dr.s say diff things...mine advised me to cut them..go figure...whatever works right? lol

  • Where did you find that thermometer? I have the worst time finding one that is reliable.

  • @MomReviews i got mine at babies r us! the brand is Braun and it is AMAZING! i've had it for almost 4 yrs now and just change the AAA battery when need be! totally reliable and my dr. uses one that is similar!

  • @mommytipsbycole Thank You! My Dr. uses that brand, too... I just have never been able to find wherer I could purchase one. =)

  • you have a beautiful family, your hair is cute too, i just had my daughter 7 weeks ago and the dr advised me to keep the area dry so the cord will fall off faster, girl you have it down to the T im a witness i used everything you mentioned wonderful wonderful tips

  • @adreya31 thanks mama!!! ur soooo sweet! congrats on ur daughter btw! yes keepin the area dry helps it fall of fast! all 3 of my kids' cord stumps fell off within 1wk or less! xoxo thanks again for ur comments!!!

  • girl! You had it all covered! LOL I still can't get over the log notebook! I saw it in your breastfeeding vlog and I'm still amazed :D You're a great mom! And you know, that little notebook is something your kids can cherish when they become a parent coz they can proudly say "wow... mom really took the time to take care of us" LOVE YA!
