I'm probably one of the biggest Tom Hulce fans in the world... at least for my age. When I did research about him about two years ago I found this video and I had only seen Amadeus then and thought "No, that can't be him" but then he started to speak and of course I didn't have doubts then anymore.

I mean, when people get older, they change, that's only natural. But I LOVE that his prominent voice stayed EXACTLY the way it had been. When you close your eyes, you see him young again. He's great!

Amadeus film was shooted in 1984, instead this was shooted in 2006... 22 years later! In Amadeus, Tom Hulce was about 25 years old!!

@PinkFluo Amadeus was released in 1984. Films take a while for editing and are not normally released in the same year they are shot. Amadeus took six months to film and I assume they must have filmed it around 1980-1983, not 1984. Tom Hulce was about 25 when he filmed Animal House.

Trust me on this, I'm probably the biggest Tom Hulce fan alive even though I'm still just a young kid!

Even with the weight gain and tons of facial hair, you can still see the adorable traits in his face that were prominent when he was younger.

But even in this supposed "drastic" change in appearance, there wasn't any in his acting, which is what truly matters.

I know what you mean about the voice. Something about the way he annunciates just has this soothing effect. I have always adored the man. As for the changes in appearance... hell, I think the grays and even the beard is a lil sexy. The weight? Just makes him more snuggly. Is snuggly a word? *shrugs* Fits him anyway. Even when he was thin he had that quality about him, but now even more so.
