I agree, the more I watch it, the more I think its a very short stoppage. That being said, there is no shame in losing to Henderson, he is on such a hot streak right now, honestly I think he beats Johns Bones Jones if they fought now. The only other person in the LHW division that has similar power to Hendo is Rampage but Rampage doesn't have the wrestling skills to even pose a threat to Jones as we all saw. Hendo has the wrestling, the chin as we just saw and the power.
All he had to do was make a calculated decision and not just rush him on the floor he could have standed strong on his right side and punched, and the second before he reached for his legs he could have pulled back and gotten into another position. Herb Dean was fucked either way with this fight. If he stopped it when Fedor faceplanted, he is yelled at for stopping it too early. If he waited and Fedor was getting pounded on more times, he would be yelled at for being too late. The first time I saw it, I felt the stoppage was early. The second time, I felt it was a good stoppage. But now I'm watching it, I'm not sure. Fedor faceplanted and was out, but when Hendo blasted him in the back of the head, he was awake and already fighting back.

You know guys.., I used to fight. I was pretty damn good. I left fighting because of a surgery. Today's fighters are just getting bigger and better. Yes, Fedor was a great fighter but also we change. Our bodies are different and don't have the same endurance we used to have. He lost three rights in a row in the US. Maybe is time to starting teaching others and retire.

Fedor is not washed up. The only consistent weakness I can detect in all of his fights is that he has not adapted to fighting in the cage. Cage pinning is a crucial aspect of MMA these days and Fedor needs to accept that reality. If you put Fedor in a boxing ring with Henderson I have no doubts Fedor would win.

Dan does a pretty big dose of test, according to research. More and more fighters are going to start getting this testosterone advantage as they get older. I agree, the more I watch it, the more I think its a very short stoppage. That being said, there is no shame in losing to Henderson, he is on such a hot streak right now, honestly I think he beats Johns Bones Jones if they fought now. The only other person in the LHW division that has similar power to Hendo is Rampage but Rampage doesn't have the wrestling skills to even pose a threat to Jones as we all saw. Herb Dean was fucked either way with this fight. If he stopped it when Fedor faceplanted, he is yelled at for stopping it too early. If he waited and Fedor was getting pounded on more times, he would be yelled at for being too late. The first time I saw it, I felt the stoppage was early. The second time, I felt it was a good stoppage. But now I'm watching it, I'm not sure. Fedor faceplanted and was out, but when Hendo blasted him in the back of the head, he was awake and already fighting back.

You know guys.., I used to fight. I was pretty damn good. I left fighting because of a surgery. Today's fighters are just getting bigger and better. Yes, Fedor was a great fighter but also we change. Our bodies are different and don't have the same endurance we used to have. He lost three rights in a row in the US. Maybe is time to starting teaching others and retire.

Fjodor was and always will be a great fighter. He's the kind of fighter who gives you goosebumps, whenever he fights. Not the best anymore though. I think Dan got lucky, but shit happens. Retire?!! No way ....

This is not the same Fedor as 10 years ago, same thing happened to him that happened to Cro Cop. The real Fedor wouldn't try to block a punch to the face with his knee... how do you mistake a punch for a leg kick... And he also wouldn't flail his arms around like that when being punched. fedor has twice and a half time destroyed noguiera who wasn't been beaten by ko untill late 2008 after 10 years. he has beaten:tim sylvia mirko cro crop, josh barnet, dan henderson, couture,semmy schmitt, coleman...etc

Fedor is not washed up. The only consistent weakness I can detect in all of his fights is that he has not adapted to fighting in the cage. Cage pinning is a crucial aspect of MMA these days and Fedor needs to accept that reality. If you put Fedor in a boxing ring with Henderson I have no doubts Fedor would win.
