Someone actually tried this on me. I had Ninetales out and he had Riolu. I had no clue what he was up to at the time, so I just went for the Fire Blast, because I suspected he was Eviolite Bulk Up or something. Fire Blast hits, Focus Sash activates, and I scored a burn. As Riolu was roaring, the guy in the chatroom went crazy and said "OMG WTF BURN FUCKFUCKFUCK". I said "That's what you get for playing undertiered Pokemon".

But now I know what that guy was trying to do... This is just so cheap.

@Rougealienpirate Simple enough to beat; priority attacks or other priority like Protect aren't to hard to come by, and then Riolu copies that instead of Roar. Stopping the initial Roar isn't hard either.

What you just saw was what happens when the foe does /not/ have a way to outspeed Prankster.
