Remember that when Dooku was a Jedi, only Yoda could beat him in lightsaber combat and Mace Windu was his equal. He is a master at Form II (Makashi) which is characterized by precision of movement and is *the* dueling form while Yoda uses Form IV (Ataru) which requires a greater use of the Force for it's athleticism. If Dooku was faced with a blaster, he'd have more trouble, but given his skill, it's should be a challenge, even for Yoda.

....and he didn't really show his wisdom here.... as he should of disabled or destroyed the ship (or force pushed it out of the building) ...cutting off dooku's only escape route....

According to the expanded universe, Mace Windu light saber technique actually taps into the dark side, however he's such a master practitioner of the force, the dark side doesn't corrput him. Yoda on the other hand is pure light side, and doesn't dare tap into the dark side. And the lightsabre technique he uses allows for alot of acrobatic stunts. It supplements his small stature.

Of course, a dark side purist would speculate that Sidious actually threw the fight to windu.

Yoda is supposed to be many hundreds of years old. That means he would have had the time to grow in ways that even old men wouldn't understand. I've always wondered if he looks the way he does just because of his age or perhaps because he was a sith himself at some time in his life before finding his way back to the light side.
