I always love watching your videos, and thanks for another great flight review! When hand launching it sounds like you are fairly low on the throttle and it always comes off smooth. What is the trick for doing a successful hand launch with an EDF?

Did you guys balance this plane according to the instructions? aka, about 90mm from the leading edge of the wing at the point next to the fuselage? I upped the battery from 2200mah to 3300 mah and am having quite a bit a weight to the tail to get it to balance at this point. Also, how much elevator deflection do you have at neutral but trimmed setting?

how often do planes malfuncion during flight? i dont wana loose a 200$ plane lol.... and with the rc simulator i used u have to make them happen... so it doesnt really tell me any thing.

@wolfsblade127 depends on the plane but to be perfectly honest, malfunctions are extremely rare.

I had this exact plane. I agree, it flies GREAT... HOWEVER, after 5 flights the motor failed/quit during flight! In fact, ever plane or jet I have got from nitroplanes has had a hardware failure in under 5 flights! This is unsafe for the pilot and spectators! Be CAREFUL if you fly one of these 'cheap' planes!

@earthling1984 That might be the catch 22. That said, it being an RTF at only $179 is a great chance for the pilot to learn if he likes the airframe flight characteristics, then buy more and add his own higher quality gear. When I first got into jets, it was $800 just to look at one. Scary thought!

Flyboy, How did you remove the missiles and fuel tanks that come on the aircraft when you recieve it.? This EDF looks awesome it is nice and big yet it still has lots of power.
