  • Justin Bieber's music's better than this. That's why Bieber's rich and these people aren't.

  • @grassfell You can't even compare her music to this. Bieber sucks 4ever.

  • @grassfell Listen to classical pieces. They've much more meaning and much more things going on than what Bieber's put up.

  • la pte blonde aussi

  • @afgnaruto What the hell. Are you kidding me. Im going to go there, I'm not rich, and without this then guess what? WE WOULDNT HAVE HALF THE STUFF WE HAVE TODAY. and you know what ELSE? Music now is the most brainless stuff, it's all computer, no REAL talent, and a simple chord progression that a MONKEY could understand. So. Respect the true musicians, there aren't many left in this world.

  • a bunch of rich snotty bastards who dont understand real music and are brainwasshed to play this crappy genre of music it has no meaning

  • @afgnaruto Excuse me? I go to this school and trust me, if I'm anything, I'm not rich. I know many people who go to this school who are far kinder than you are, and are far less "snotty" as well.

  • @afgnaruto what is 'real' music then?

  • @afgnaruto First off, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. Second, it obviously had a meaning to Bizet, or else he wouldn't have wrote it. Third, I would like to see YOU try to create a piece like this. Fourth, EVERY SINGLE THING you might find in a dub-step 'song' or a rap ' song' (all the sounds) come from the orchestra or some part of it. So, if this is not "real" music, then what is? I strongly advise you to delete your comment. go f**k yourself.

  • euh.... elle n'est pas prévue pour être jouée au violon cette partie?..???

  • The fire flares up, and burns it to a crisp.

    It needs more energy!

  • So helpful to listen to this when practicing..

  • I love watching videos that center on the cellos. We are the awesomest.

I think it was coducted a little fast but otherwise just as we're doing it in our orchestra.

  • love playing this on the piano and on the cello

  • I have had this piece stuck in my head for the better part of ten years and niw I finally know the name. Thank you for the post

  • omg, me too.

i first heard this in 1993, only recently i figured out the trackname

  • wat chouchou?wat language was that?

  • French. "Chouchou" means "darling" :-)

  • actually, cabbage, cabbage. :-)

  • Damn! I should refresh my French!

And a chouette is a small cabbage, right?

  • You can translate "chouchou" by "sweety" or "darling".

    "Chou" means "cabbage".

A "chouette" is an owl ;p (but if you say "chouette" withour nothing around that means "nice" or "cool").

  • Chouette!

    I wrote that as a smart-ass comment :o)

I had some 9 years of French classes during school and just some 3 miles north, there is France... :-)

  • no i think petit chou

  • oops now i hear the sax in the second part, my bad XD.

  • i couldn't really hear the sax, but i think thats coz brass (nearly) always overrides woodwind. the overture that i play on sax is staccato (dunno why, is it the same here? i can't rly hear the sax)

  • beautiful saxophone

  • omfg they have percussion in a classical piece? rly puts me off.

  • are you kidding? Percussion is one of the center pieces in many classical works. Have you ever heard O'Fortuna, Beethoven's 9th, or Fanfare for the Common Man?

  • hmm, i don't remember percussion in beet's 9th but i guess i dun rly listen carefully. ill look at it some time. and by percussion i mainly meant the snare drums in this.

  • HAHAHA Percussion MAKES beethoven's 9th. ...in the scherzo if I'm not mistaken.

  • yeah, for sure. Timpani galore. lol

  • @txgolfer Have you ever heard all of bach's fugues? Or perhaps Many classical cantatas?

  • I LOVE this music!!!!!!!!!!I made a video just today about me playing this on the piano,it might be a little different but still awesome,I play part to it.Anyway i thought this was great but i don't think i really like with using those intruments like i might prefer it on strings with long sustain you know what i mean or whatever anyway im still rating a 5/5

  • im playin this piece right now

  • fO ke je le jOu a la flûte ! c'est trOp dur ! ^^

pOur avOir les nOtes nésiter pas!! chouchou1610

  • J'ADORE TROP

  • Careful English horn, ;-)

  • Really amazing!

  • im in 9th grade.. and im playing this song and i honestly think we are much bettr than this.. Plus this is suppose to be a governer school which means it is supposed to be like the best of the best

  • Excellent work! very impressive for a high school orchestra. The only criticism i have is that you had such oppurtunities to really emphasize the dynamic changes that you didnt take advantage of. But overall, you guys had a fantastic ensemble, mustve been an awesome experience!

  • bravi! I love Georges

  • sweet..we are playing this with our 9th and 10th grade orchestra! It isnt as awesome but with time we will be better!

  • Not bad for an amateur orchestra, although I would have fired the percussion....

  • Nice!
