@kazzaphillips No way man. This isnt Percy Jones. Ive just checked the Mick Karn website discography section, which shows he played on Night in the Park on Rice Music album. So there you go. ;D
@NeuHarmonic - yes, Mick and Percy were both on the album weren't they. I started looking up Masami because I love the Arcadia guitar sound. Finding this was incredible. I just bought the vinyl. Looking forward to the rest of this album.
it's Mick Karn on this one.

This is Percy Jones playing bass, but they sound more alike than any other 2 bass players.

Yes, I bought the album after having him seen perform at Japan's last concerts. Still, I thought he really messed things up, unlike Sakamoto-san!
Maxiclaudi 2 years ago
What did he mess up?
marehtseira 1 year ago
The whole sound of Japan - his guitar whirls just did not fit. With Ippu Do it was fine, and solo with Mick Karn: great.

@Maxiclaudi Bollocks. His guitar fit just great. The Oil on Canvas recording is proof of that. ;D

Totally took me back to the good old 80's Wish I could get it all on CD again. Only got some YMO, Sakamoto and Takahashi stuff so far.
