Hi Yukes! I was wondering what the price range is around to get a Japanese Hair Straightening done? I've always wanted to try it out but have been hesitant only because I'm unsure about the price. Thanks :)
@ann9787 i think it depends on the length/texture of your hair, so each individual will need a consultation. i wanna say it starts at around $200 at a reputable salon though. good luck! <3
Heys girly! I love ya long silky hair! Lucky u didnt chop them off...hehe! Your rebonding looks so natural on yuo..i remember the last time i did, i look super flat & makes my head looks weird hahas. Love u missy!
@GraciousGlamours lol well thank you grace!!! for some reason it looks much less pin straight this time around, but at least no frizz so i can't complain :) the length is super long though, i'm still thinking maybe i should cut a few inches...but i always get too scared haha! love u too, and hope all is well with u! <3
Finally a new video! I'm always looking forward to them because you're absolutely gorgeous =) Like someone mentioned earlier, I'd definitely try either Moroccan or Argan oil for the ends of your hair. I bought a very small 15ml bottle of Argan oil from Sally's, but just a tiny amount goes a long way. It's great if you want to eliminate frizziness but make your hair shiny :)
@tracedward yes. i usually wait a few months before curling my hair, but if i do, it stays in. but i think it may also depend on the individual. my hair tends to hold curls pretty well in general, so that might also be a factor. either way, it's important to use heat protectant when using any hot styling tools!
@emilythefashionista for me personally, no. but everyone is different, so it's important to talk to your hair stylist to see if you are the right candidate. it can get a little dry (not more than if i were to use a straightener everyday), but i can prevent that by using conditioners and always using heat protectant if i plan to put any heat on it from styling tools.
@lovemakeup09 until it grows completely out, but my waves (at the roots) start becoming noticeable at around 6-9 months, but even then it's not too bad. the ends stay straight unless i cut it all off. i think if you had very curly hair, then it'd become more noticeable earlier. i got mine at a discounted price since my family and i have been going to the same stylist for years, but i think it generally starts at around $150-200.
@TheRa3gan someone just mentioned to me that it contains ingredients that may actually dry your hair >_< i'm going to have to do more research, but in the meantime i'm going to also look into moroccan and/or macadamia nut oil. have you tried either of those??
@MissYukes Oh really? No i havnt tried moroccan or macadamia nut oil but i have been looking into moroccan oil and i know alot of people are really happy about moroccan oil. i may just have to invest in that (:
i heard biosilk has a bad acid in it that dries out your hair. I'd use moroccan oil on your ends, it repairs and replenishes moisture way better then biosilk. I've used both biosilk and Moroccan oil, and i'd chose moroccan oil 100% over biosilk
@MissYukes I have tried macadamia oil too, the sent was very overwhelming (floral) and i felt like the moroccan oil did a better job. The moroccan oil sank it instead of leaving my hair greasy and brittle.
@ayooeunice you can definitely feel that there is product on there (i think that's inevitable), but it is far less crunchy than other hairsprays i've tried, so i love it!

Does the Japanese Hair Straightening treatment damage your hair a lot?
