I was there for this also. It was my favorite part of the night...not being able to turn on the piano, finding the lyrics...not may performers would put themselves out there like that.

I was at that show, and a you made a very good sign! I laughed so hard when he couldn't get the piano on and then couldn't figure out the rest of the song. My family talked about it for the remainder of the night as the funniest part of the concert. Good Job!!
Thanks for all of the positive replies. I am an artist and made this sign myself from a portrait of bruce that i found online. Was very thrilled to get him to play the keys. I really regret not recording the whole song.
Yes, I was there too! On the floor but behind the pit. Awesome sign, how did you make it? I loved this part of the show and the comments he made about this being a pretty broad request, how to turn on the piano, where's the rest of the song, etc. And mostly his goofy ass laugh...I LOVE it!
Great sign. I was on the rail in front of Clarence with my "Held Up Without a Gun" sign. Sadly, he didn't take it but he did take the sign from the girls with us and pulled BOTH of them up on the stage during Dancing in the Dark.
I don't know that I completely agree...I think the night's rendition of Backstreets may have been the highlight...but this was up there for me. Great night, none the less.
