Personally I think if you haven't played it you definetely should. Might not be a pure Mortal Kombat game but it has the best gameplay of any 3D Mortal Kombat game yet and is definetely worth at least a rent. And then there is the online mode which is fun too.

You don't need full rage no, but you need to have blood turned on, then you press either Right, Left, Down, Left, X for his first one, or Left, Right, Down, Down, Circle for his second one, both when standing at about sweep range.

I bought it a few days ago and I can't stop playing it, I must say it's quite addictive. It's pure fun; only flaw is that it's not gore and there isn't much blood, but still is a kickass game in my opinion.

I think that only the heroes of DC will have Heroic Brutality and the Villains have fatalities . . . And of course MK Will ALL have fatalities

don't no much on diff versions but i can simply say that DC has never been quite violent/dark, so i wouldn't expect much gore and shit from them.

this is DC vs MK, don't expect much blood letting from DC characters, the companies don't quite wanna show Flash's spine being torn out by Scorpion...although that would be sick. I gotta say this would be much cooler and darker if it were Marvel vs MK, not that i ain't a DC fan course. But Marvel has a dimmer more violently known image.

actually, i would've been the same. i've read both comic book company's books, and personally, i felt DC was MORE violent. you see black adam punching holes through people and superboy prime ripping someone's head off. not to mention DC runs Vertigo comics, which essentially publishes adult comics like Preacher, Y: The Last Man, and the Constatine comics (forgot actual name). dc and marvel are both very dark and gritty nowadays.
