  • Have you ever head MEGURO Co?

They almost bankroped then Kawasaki bought the company then let MEGURO stuff produce 650-W1 at 1966.

Z is pure kawasaki and W is Meguro Kawasahi.

Meguro stuff loves British bikes so they produse W as British tast.

None in my country could buy Triumph or Harlly after loseing war that peaple start makeing bikes they loved.

Many Aisan companys just copy style for making money but you can feel love respect and admiration that J bikes will come real bikes I beleave.

  • Dicker alter Mannmit Plautz-Bauch kickt Retromopped ohne jeglichen Sound an....

    Im Spiesser Garten!

Teckel kommt vorbeigewixxt, alter Mann pöttelt mit dem lütten Mopped ab:

    Goil!!

    sexy!!!

  • I once had some guy come up to me when I was riding my Triumph and tell me "My W650 is better than a Triumph"...all I could say is..."But its still NOT a Triumph" He walked away , head hung low, in shame.

  • @inmate1577 And it will never be a Triumph until it breaks down and spills it's oil on the road. Then it's a Triumph :) But you're right, because that will never happen.

  • much better made than brit

bikes and quality is alot better too

  • Hi, could you say me where you get the rear carrier, i´m getting crazy looking for one!

    Thanks a lot

    I´m an W650 2001 owner too

  • beautiful bike, anyone know how i can get my hands on one of these?

  • @omarct

used somewhere. they stopped making them in 2001 in the US. and 2007 in someother countries. theyre coming out with a W800 soon, next year i believe.

  • why are you using the kick starter?

  • @xDrofler why not use it?

  • @daviewavie112 you can start it with electricity

  • @xDrofler its just that the kick start is cool so why not use it

  • What a cool Motorcycle

    Thank you for the listing

  • it looks like Jawa 500 OHC,

  • What a bike.

Does anybody know if kawa import this bike to europe?

  • As far as I know they did import them to most western European countries. They still sold them in Japan up until last year.

  • The W650 is simply one of the most wonderful motorcycles ever made. I've got over 20,000 miles on mine, and have enjoyed every one of them.

  • i wish they still imported these :(.

  • looks more like a triumph than a triumph !good on ya !!

  • Pretty bike!

  • Love that ghostly U-turn trick, you gotta teach me that.

  • Scared a rat at :40. They were available in the U.S.A. 2000 and 2001 only. I heard there are about 2000 in the U.S. I've seen them going for $2-4000.

  • kickstart WTF??

  • kickstart is alot more efficient, it doesnt render you completely helpless when the battery dies in the middle of nowhere. I personally would not have it any other way.

  • real men dont hit buttons to start their bikes.

  • Beautiful bike and a pleasure to own. I had a green one... the best looking one, but oddly enough also the rarest seen...

Totalled it on a trip to Switzerland. My heart weeps :(

  • Excellent.

  • I have a 2000. Excellent bikes. I love it!!!!!

  • That is not the standard sound. Did you drill out the baffles?

  • muy muy bonita!!! Very nice!! From Spain...

  • Along with Honda's GB500, the W650 is the "other" Bike I'd kill to own!

Bring 'em both back Honda & Kaw!!

  • Kwaka still make this bike but as far as I know they sell them only in Japan.I own a new triumph but in some ways these bikes seem closer to the old trumpies.

  • Yah!
