normally i wouldn't like this kind of amateur work. but great note on the sound editing, like that titanic clip merge with the main stream if the score. and the audio and score worked well with the cutting.

that makes me think, what happened to cyan and the myst film they were doing.

oh and since you are interested in doing stuff like this, may be doing a scene with Rossel and others with the myst backdrop will be nice.

That was a surprisingly good job. But you should have listed who those actors were playing...though it was kind of obvious. That aside..Russel Crowe triggers my gag reflex. I can't stand him.

I think you did an awsome job, the only thing that I'm upset with is that they dont have an actual movie out. I'd totally go and see it. I wish they'd bring out newer versions of the games as well so I could still play them.The original Myst and Riven I can no longer play with my new laptop with windows vista. Does anyone have any info on how to play the old games?

The word I have been hearing is that a movie based on Myst: The Book of Ti'Anna is in the works.

Try looking in the Myst forums. The word I hear is that the original games are not playable in Vista. Later versions such as the masterpiece and ten year anniversary collection play well, although Riven requires a lot of tweaking. There are some videos on Youtube that show how to install Dosbox, which will let you play a lot of old Dos and install Win 3.1 so you can play Myst. If you don't mind paying $5-$10, the GOG people are putting out a lot of old games remade for Vista including Myst.

^ To artemissimetra, all i had to work with was the Exile trailer unfortunately. I had to edit about 4 minutes of video down to two minutes, sync the audio and make everything time tied together. if that isnt editing then i guess im doing my job wrong and i dont know why im getting these cool comments. its just a fan trailer, stop your bitching. the authentic rand miller dialougue is from Myst 3 Exile. Thats where i got it from, and the only Myst game i could get that would give me what i was looking for. Though Exile is the only one i could get, im hoping hollywood will make a trilogy of sorts of the great books, instead of the games.
