@eggnoy Yeah, he'd have to give up his Dream & K-1 belts i think. But he's put out a video telling the UFC to come and get him, but he wants and immediate title shot !
i mean...Diaz got an immediate shot at GSP's belt...why not give alistair a chance?...it would be a smart move for D ufc to have him in their heavyweight division
This is dedication at its extreme. Alistair despite being so huge and muscular is so active, his endurance is amazing. Where as Bobby Lashley is also of stature keeps gassing out in all of his fights. Kickboxing is the real base of MMA.
I like Bas but Overeem cant be number 1 now...He has the skills to be number 1 but he hasnt fought the top guys yet...If we rank guys only based on skills and not who they fought then Josh Barnett would be number 1 for the last 10 years.
oh gosh this guy ain on roids, he ain on juice, i kno guys from the hood who r that big without juice, man if u was 2 go 2 freakin GHANA u wud evry1 is on juice, his size genes r frm the blck in him then all he dun was lift sum weight 2 get the finishin build, its common amongst blck ppl that they r skinny wen yung then put on mass naturaly wen they hit their 30s nt to mention if u wer 2 add hrs in the gym wat do u think wud happen...?
Overeem is monster and i really like this documentary. It gives us a good look at what it takes to be one of the greatest fighters out there. And before everybody starts crying again about roids. Think about it...really.
This guy loves his sport and does work very hard for it. He is training like a mad man. Not only on muay thai and jiu jitsu...he also trains to get big with Strongman competitors. I really think Alistar would not risk getting caught using something. My 2 cents!
@rolloveranddie I think he is/was using steroids but I agree totally that it is not the only reason he is as successful as he is. Overeem is an extremely dedicated fighter who, like you said, is working hard on all aspects of his game and I think he will be the best heavyweight in the world very soon if he keeps it up and goes into the UFC.
@rolloveranddie yeah, and reem got to be that big after 3 years. Mir packed on the lbs in months be4 he fought brock. 30lbs in 3 years is plenty of time to pack on muscle weight. Plus, that strongman training will make u big.
bas is right!
