In the late eighties and early nineties, he served on the parliamentary committee on intelligence services ("Parlamentarischer Kontrollausschuss").[1] This committee supervises German intelligence agencies and has access to classified information.

Ok, just do some research on the numbers of neo-nazis in Germany. You'll realise that Germany has the lowest rate of nazis in all of Europe and USA.

Take look around in Europe. In fact Germany is surrounded by nations where right-wing/nationalists parties came to power in the last few years, while the Germans resist this trend, solid as a rock.

After Curveball was revealed to be fake, THEN the BND filled the press with the lie that they warned the US. Intelligence relations between the US and Germany have taken a nosedive because of it; CIA head confirmed Germany waited 2 years before saying Curveball was unreliable.

But the BND knew that the US was looking for the very thing they magically supplied. The BND gave details of classified incidents that Curveball could not have not known about otherwise. This made Curveball's intelligence 'check out'.
