Those Seats are very very comfortable. The non-angled seats on Delta's 767-400 are also very comfortable too. My point is, Angled or not both are very comfortable.
3D on Delta 777-200LR is a good seat. It is away from the restroom, and near enough to access. It is shielded from the lights at the kitchen/cockpit area. I always choose 3D or 4D if I am on that flight. And of course, the flatbed is a luxury! ;-)
This recent trend of business class seats being angled away from the windows looks like no fun at all. Bring back the days when these seats were parallel to the windows so passengers could enjoy the view!
An unnamed woman received a Tweet from Congressman Anthony Weiner (D-NY) which accompanied a picture of a very obviously aroused wingwang in a pair of tight grey boxer briefs. No face included. (Therein lies the mystery.) The Weiner himself (god, it's fun writing that) tweeted that his Twitter and Facebook accounts were hacked and the offending flesh missile does not belong to him.
Interesting news story: "The HHS Office for Civil Rights (OCR) has issued a Notice of Final Determination finding that a covered entity, Cignet Health of Prince George’s County, MD (Cignet), violated the Privacy Rule of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA)."
It continues: "HHS has imposed a civil money penalty (CMP) of $4.3 million for the violations, representing the first CMP issued by the Department for violations of the HIPAA Privacy Rule. The CMP is based on the violation categories and increased penalty amounts authorized by Section 13410(d) of the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act."
It's sad how aviation fans are all too often the close equivalents to high-functioning autistic persons, with technical knowledge and supposedly 'high IQs', but their social skills are wanting. Come on back, angry folks, but while you dislike these words, all you're doing is hating the truth. Just because a geek SEES HIMSELF as some 'hit of the party' doesn't mean he has any noteworthy social status; reminds me of "Revenge of the Nerds"--those dorks saw themselves as special, too.
Hey, Ronny, maybe we should get New York state officials involved in McKesson and their little egocentric employee, who boasts about his little "hacking" skills, and see how New York and federal agencies like CMS feel about your HIPAA violations. I'm sure McKesson would LOVE to know about how CMS will feel about THEM and little Ronny, the hacker. Have a nice day.
PS--Technical knowledge and culture, or "class", are OBVIOUSLY distinct. Stay in your nuveau-riche fantasy world, GEEK.
@RonnyNussbaum, Hi, fuck head, wanna compare gross incomes? Wanna compare IRS returns? Wanna compare education? Wanna compare literacy between us? You inherit a little cash and suddenly you're in that fantasy world you see on TV where you're a REAL BIGSHOT!! HAAHHAHHA! You semiliterate, uncultured pig.
Yet another self-indulgent narcissist, with enough dollars to buy a first class ticket and not enough sense to fly coach. And of course, the rules don't apply to YOU. Stop signs, taxes, waiting lines, public safety and security rules--they're for OTHER people, not for big shots like YOU. God knows, who is ANYONE for trying to reduce your unfettered enjoyment of your little electronic devices?
Another example of the selfish, self-centered nature of our cultural decline.
@g17y5wb Someone is jealous and should get a life. A couple of things:
1) You shouldn't hate rich people just because you're stupid enough, or not talented enough to make money.
2) In many situations people fly business class as part of their company's policy, not because they want to. They don't pay out of pocket for these flights, their company does.
So STFU and return to the hole you crawled out of.
I bet you enjoyed it up in first class. The rest of us were back in the steerage( isn't that what they called it on the Titanic?) economy pack in like sardines with all the people from the trailer parks.
The aviation world has lost some of it's glamour. Nowadays people board planes wearing stuff as if they were going hiking or to the beach. And it is sad that american companies have developped this cheap-travelling-style. It is my opinion.
I just flew Delta's 777-200LR in Economy from Atlanta to Johannesburg. 16 hours. I will never fly them again. There is no padding in the seats! The legroom wasn't bad to be honest but half an hour into the flight, your butt starts to get sore. Coming home I think the cabin crew originally flew on a DC-3... A right miserable old bitchy lot!
nice! i was wondering, is it better that the seats are positioned diagonally? It seems that you'd have to twist your whole body just to get a view from the windows
Im going on a 777-200LR from Atlanta to Narita this September in Business Elite. My question is, are the seats comfortable?, they seem a little thin. My itinerary says it's a 14 hour 5 minute flight, and I want to know if it's hard on your butt. Also, do they really feed your 3 times during flight? This will be my middle segment, as I'm going BDL-ATL-BKK. Finally, are the seats wide enough to get a good nights sleep, and do they turn the lights out at all? Thank you in advance.
@jeff672 Thanks for the info, I sleep the same way, and I had the same problem on a 767-400ER from JFK to LHR in their flat beds. So looking forward to this trip on this aircraft.
@jeff672 Hi my Dad works for Delta. I'm connecting from Narita to Hong Kong ob the 777. I have been on the seats and they are very comfortable. They are side ways and believed to be lie-flat. The only disadvantage is that if you are in the first row that you'll have to turn your neck to see out the window.
US Carriers' first class cabins look terrible compared to European, Asian and Middle Eastern Carriers like Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines and Emirates. What a shame. Why don't they make it better???
@CraZy291 haha, I was little confused at first why he made me stop but, for what ever reason they were checking our luggage there which I found ridiculous considering they checked my luggage when I went through security. At least I got footage of boarding the plane.
@ijks2010 It wasn't bothersome at all what was irritating was turning back to record the engines when I recorded the take off's and landings. I wasn't able to record the engines on take offs and landings. But, on the other hand the plane is great. Thanks for your comment!
Ahhh I love those head phones! Can I have them lol? Thats awesome they give you like a $300 pair of headphones for free but you are paying A LOT of money for first class anyway so they should give it 2 u
Please don't tell me you ACTUALLY wore white socks with those sandals! I bet that's all the rage in Hong Kong huh? Anyway, nice little video. Maybe you can show us a sweeping view of the cabin itself next time.....
I really enjoyed this video. I'm thinking about flying from Charlotte to France sometime early next year I hope they'll let me record it. Makes me wonder why some airports allow it and some don't. Anywho, loved the video.
@WatchMeAsIExplode Lucky, I have only gotten kinda in trouble twice. Once (in this video) I was recording through the gate way. and second I was recording a plane land at a local airport. I say go for it. Even if you listen closely at 0:38 you can hear me ask the flight attendant where my seat is. This was only a test to see if she would allow me recording all this. Thanks for watching and I am glad you liked it!
@drdelta2 Totally worth it! hahah but, not that much, it was about $2,000 bucks for medallion members. But economy was $1500.00! So I had no problem paying the extra 500 for a lay flat bed : )

I have 250,000 thousand miles and, they are still making me pay a lot to upgrade. Thats all I can say I will do some research for you and, find out some more info on that for you though.
