  • HELP! My school only supports 2011 but I have 2012 at home and they are incompatible. I need to work on my models at home in order to catch up with my latest project. There is absolutely NO help coming from autodesk's website as they now only give out 2012. If you know of a non virus ridden site where I can download a copy or even where to look on the official website for 2011, please let me know.

    1) the technology behind this modeling activity is old and well-known.. I would say not bad idea.. but it is not new

    2) in your example the outer larger surface collapses in a vertex (bad quality)

    3) Alias users weren't linked to "control points" of their beloved surfaces? Can you imagine how many control points you have there? Personally I do not care about control points (I just care about quality) but Alias users care, and a lot!

  • "This doesn't exist in parametric modeler, except Inentor"

I'm pretty sure it exists in CATIA and UG
