This episode gave me no closure as to what the heck happened to mary jane after she was lost on the George washington bridge by the green goblin. Yeah, even if they hadn't ruined Venom TAS would still be superior. TSSM is a mixed show. They ace one thing and bomb something else. This show was legend! TSSM has its moments though.

Despite some characters having completely different backstories (Electro being a big one) I say that the TV show did well in handling the Spidey rougue gallery. My only regrets is that Venom, who was a complete badass, only got one episode to himself. (His second appearance was overshadowed by Carnage) If they could give fan favorites like Doc Ock and Morbius bunches of episodes, they could've at least make Venom a major villain for a season or so, like Kingpin.

Yeah! Kingpin made way to many appearances, the Morbius story took to long, 6 forgotten warriors & Secret Wars took up way to much time. If Season 4 & 5 hadnt been packed with worthless episodes, Morbius didnt own Season 2and Kingpin hadn't made so many appearances there could have been more time for Venom, Mysterio, Kraven, Rhino, Green Goblin, and maybe even Carnage.
