  • jajajaja YO MAÑANA VOY!!!

  • there is something about it tht makes u want to squeeze it, but u no if u did tht, NO MORE HANDS, hell no more life!!!!!

  • i would light my joint with this amazing stuff

  • You guys are nuts!?

Cant hot ash fly by and melt your face off?

  • if it flies yeah it can...

but to fly it needs something underneath it that pushes it fly.

what you see is basically hot (almost melted) rocks, flowing down the volcano. the viscosity is very high, so you can see if flows very slowly

(note: I had the same concerns you have, but when I went up I noticed it was ok)

  • coolio

  • little close for comfort

  • This lava looks crumbly.

  • I wish I was Groudon and can live in it.

  • You are very obssesed with Pokemon aren't you?

Well you're not the only one. Sometimes i just wish i was Groudon just for the hell of stepping on people.

  • whats a groudon

  • the lava looks like candy! i wish it wasnt hot! taht would be cool to throw at people if it wasnt!

  • niiiiiice! lol

  • awesome lava, wish i can see something spectacular like this :)

  • this dudes got balls!

  • A real experience... Just be careful enough and there shouldn't be a problem... Without brave people to do this, we wouldn't be watching this...

  • woah that must have a been an experience of a life time!

  • trippy

  • man that trip musta been hella good...getting so close the the lava, was it really warm?

  • thanks, hamsupzhai. the lava was hot, yes. you could not touch it. however, you could stand at 1-2 mts away from it for a while. you should also notice that this lava had a high level of viscosity. thus, it moved very slowly (I understand there other types of lava, and some are very liquid and move fast)

  • crazy

  • Wow dude that looks Awesome (i would be to scared to get that close)

  • what date was this filmed ??

  • Aug 12th, 2006

  • volcanos blow lol

  • Very interesting video of a lava flow at night and also the solidified lava viewed beside the green vegetation during the daytime. Thank you for sharing your video.

  • wow! nice video, i bet it was fun..

  • I breathe Guatemala, I dream Guatemala..

    I LOVE GUATEMALA, MY COUNTRY!

  • nice video! Pacaya is wonderful right now

  • Hey thanks. I also checked yours. Seems like you had a good time in Pacaya. If you like Guatemalan volcanoes, you might want to do Acatenango and Fuego (though they're lot more difficult than Pacaya). I uploaded a video of these two other volcanoes.

  • kool vid.
