thats why led's are not that great . they work but with out the high intensity light of say a 600 watt or a 1000 watt your yeild go's down the drain. this is what my plants look like at 2 or 3 weeks under a 1000 watt.
Wow, and people wonder why I stay away from led's. Dude, trade in or sell your led's for a nice switchable MH/HPS ballast. They run about the same price, but your yield will increase 2,000%. You should be getting almost 1 pound per plant if you do it right.

@partyongarth420 Actualy it only cost about 30 to +60 dollars more a month to run a 1000 watt light and you only need good sorce of fresh are and one house fan and it keeps things around 70 to 80 degree's F.

I have had many conversations with the manager at a local Hydroponic shop.He is not a kid,but a mid thirtyish dude who makes this his living.He has tried to get "LED" companies to send him a light set which his company would sell if it did what the company is claiming.He wanted to set up a display with a plant under LED's.His Co. is not small.They have retail stores and a central dist.center. No one would send him a Free or discounted sample. There is a reason. JUNK !
No the reason is the company does not want to give a discount or free sample to someone who just wants a freebie. He should have to pay for it just like everyone else. The LED light systems follow the known spectrum for growing and eliminate unneeded light.
try use sodium bulbs or somthing.. LED sux.. Doesnt give the right amount of light. not even close.. look at the buds, smallest ever... neh, 1001bulbs, 10 Euro for an 250w Red spectrum or Blue spectrum...

op aarde kan je rustig een weekje langer doorgaan dan aanbevolen voor een goede smaak, dit gaat toch lekker relax zo met led. vaak denk ik dat continu HPS ook niet zo fijn is voor je plant.
ik denk dat ik een oude koelkast ga ombouwen met led,s voor privegebruik want dit wil ik ook wel eens proeven.

Metal halide is the way to go, balanced out with a T5 plant bulbs. Plant growing is my forte!
