Rashad evans is very elusive aswell, check his fight with chuck lidell, chuck wanted to brawl and rashad just kept moving away and staying outside his range, chuck got sloppy and didnt protect his chin while throwing, and rashad capitalized on it..

After reading ur comment I agree on one thing and disagree on another. I guess I have to agree on that he is an "intelligent" fighter since he was able to outmanoeuvre his opponent, reading his fight and get that decisive hit...he used his elusiveness in that fight because it suited against chuck. But I dont agree that Rashad is generally more elusive than any other top fighter. E.g. this fight against Machida his "elusiveness" wasnt much of a help, apparently.

yea its funny i saw an inerview with Eddie Bravo and he was saying Joe is a beast on the mat and one of his tougher guys, but he wont give him a black belt until he improves his guard a little more. but the reason he said Joe has a little difficulty witht he guard is hes so strong and such a good grappler he's never in his guard so he doesnt get enough work on it.
