Great Vid, Microsoft asked Treasure to bring radiant Silvergun to xbla,but treasure said the game hasn't aged well,I think this game still holds up imo,Treasure was making a new shmup for 360 but i think it got canceled.

Ah Radiant Silvergun - nice pixellated 'transparencies' etc. It's amazing to see how the Saturn games really hold up to some of the PSX titles. Both the PSX and the Saturn were 2d sprite powerhouses. The PSX was a polygon powerhouse whilst the Saturn had polygons 'glued in' at the end of the process - making the latter very hard to develop for.

Excellent video. Enjoyed it tremendously. Looking forward to the next ones.

what'd you use for capturing the gameplay man?

Sometimes simplifying is best. After several mediocre attempts and results with various capture devices I finally decided on a simple method. I bought the cheapest low end standalone DVD recorder I could from Future Shop, I simply record the gameplay direct onto DVD-r discs, then import the files into Cyberlink Power Director which handles the DVD format .vob files. Another advantage is I maintain the original footage on DVD for archiving purposes.

I heard there is no North American version of this game its sad but i think true. I guess I'll have to run it in emulation than. ... Speaking of which i have been testing the SSF Emulator out and seeing how many games I can run on it and to what degree for the new .10 beta ... will have a video for it when I have finished.

its about 1 in 6 games from what I have tested so far not bad ... but I think some of the ones I got that I don't have originals to it might be the rips that are limiting me ... Also Found that some need to have the audio ripped separately and the use of a cue to play those tracks and tricks like that
