How Come there are no intros from the NFL on TNT i mean their music was intense, espically the part when the football was kicked right through the uprights and hit the stars on the NFL Shield that was truly beautiful.
The NFL in 1994 I remember well because it was the 75th anniversary year. The NFL on TNT was awesome-Pat Haden and Verne Lundquist were the play-by-play men for the games. Ernie Johnson and Kevin Kiley did the pre, half and post-game shows. I miss the NFL when it was on TNT. As for Susan Powter, she was loud, brash and had an informercial in the early-mid '90s called Stop The Insanity, a weight-loss program. Don't know what happened to her since.
They're very sensationalistic. Like, their newscast isn't about what went on in Hampton Roads that day --- its about who got screwed over because they got caught in a scam and how the news is going to make it right for them.
These commercials are actually from September 1994 (Not 1995). You can tell because of the advertisement for the movie "The River Wild", which was released in September 1994
Is the NBA still on TNT. I agree, NFL on TNT was great. I also loved it when TNT played those great movies from the 60s and before, Father Goose is a great movie. I also prefer Sports Center from the 90s. I'm really glad that people still have their old vhs tapes from long ago.
It's too bad the Sunday Night NFL games can't be carried on TNT or ESPN these days. It belongs on NBC, because they've got a bigger contract with them, too. Oh well.

From September 25th, 1994. The Chiefs beat the Falcons in Atlanta by the score of 30-10.

Some of this looks dated, but some of it I wouldn't be able to tell was from 14 years ago. Commercials haven't changed very much since the 90s.

Not enough people do, sadly. The NFL on TNT was awesome IMO, I liked it more than ESPN back then.
