Use PPjoy, a program that turns your keyboard into a joystick. goto my site, it links you to the guitarzero forums and from there there are tutorials everywhere on that.
This game is sooo old, just get Phaseshift or Rockfan. Phaseshift is currently the best in my opinion, and can be found at the Frets on Fire forums under Other Music Games.

fof sucks it has worse graphics and its not as accurate with the notes. its also just really ugly to play, but this is nice and clean

Frets on Fire does not suck. You just need to get the mods to make it look all pretty.

i can assign some buttons for the 360 guitat controller but can't assign the strumming anyone know whats wrong ?

you have to download and install speical drivers go to GZ forums for info... if ur using vista there will be more problems.. lol im in the same boat

Guitar zero is a PC based version of guitar hero
It can be downloaded from
