  • In hurricane irean I dident even lose power in my house

  • Oh NOW I know what that sound was at the beginning of the video! The power lines and transformers were blowing! Duh I'm such an idiot!

  • Awesome

  • @Sims3101lover Im from Maryland, we had no school for a week when we had hurricane Irene I was happy!

  • Hurricanes are not fun at all. Being inside for about 35 hours with no power or cell phone reception with the constant banging of branches and sticks hitting ur shutters. And then cleaning the yard after the after math. Smfh

  • I remember standing on my roof top and letting the strong wind hold me up while i was standing at a 45 degree angle. It was so much fun.

  • @Sims3101lover Lots of fun, until you either get blown off the roof or sliced up by pieces of sheet metal & other objects hurled through the air by the wind

  • @danw1374 not really, the only things that are really being blown in the air are leaves and really light things

  • Are huricanes as bad as they make it look on the TV?

  • @annacv107 hurricanes are so much fun, believe me. The people on the news make it scarier so that people run to the stores and shop like maniacs,(the stupid people)

  • Hurricane katrina happened in charelston south carolina (SC) when I was 3. And I might move there in a few years. chalelston has bad hurricanes, but hurricane wilma is pretty bad. And get this: the name wilma will stay until the end of the season. This happened in 2005 wich is the year I went to preschool. maybe a tornado would form during hurricane wilma.

  • wow!!!!!!

  • I dunno if this is fake or not. filming is to good to be real looks real enough to be real

  • u u s a fight god u fight every body the root on u how u felt god is just

  • @shafrana100 cool dude!

  • The U.S. faces unfriendly governments and groups (some with terrorist practices), serial killers and lunatics inside the country, give support for allies around the world, face a number of wars at the same time, provide humanitarian assistance to many developing nations, and still has to face hurricanes, earthquakes and cyclones etc.. It is an admirable people, no doubt.

  • Walmart D:

  • 0:12 They are coming...

  • @ggpasgg You noticed that too? I swear the aliens are going to attack the earth any minute now....

  • What is that at 0:13 - 0:21 ??

  • @DanielM196 transformers exploding.

  • Strongest hurricane of the century this thing was a beast

  • Hurricane Wilma hit us in WPB when i was 7 and it blew our window in so we had to stand there while holding up cardboard to the window! -.-

  • There's nobody on the street.

  • @leafyutube Obviously, anybody on the street would be blown away.

  • I distinctly remember this hurricane, I live in Hollywood, near Fort Luderdale, it was total chaos!!! Fortunately, it seems like Irene is not that strong, but anyway, people must take precaution. Better safe than sorry.

  • Oh god I hope Irene isn't too bad!! I'm in it's path.

  • @darkvulpix77 You should be away.... :-O

  • @nolver1 It's not THAT bad. I'm not by the shore, but I'm in NJ.

  • @darkvulpix77 you guys got a tropical storm

  • @serenadesilhout no we had a hurricane. We had power in the middle of it and on CNN and Fox News it said HURRICANE Irene.

  • Omg my favorite hurricane, huge waves, no power, NO SCHOOL FOR A MONTH . Good times, good times. If your a Floridian you love hurricanes (maybe)

  • @Sims3101lover what if there was a tornado , what would you do then?

Think about school or your life?

  • @XXThePlatinumXX we get tornado's all the time

  • @Sims3101lover I do!!!!! I've lived in Florida all my life. To me hurricanes are exciting, but, I think watching a tornado coming towards me would scare the shit out of me.

  • THE WINDS WERE 140 I WAS IN MIAMI THIS NOJOKE

  • que fatal

  • God, I hate Hurricane!! Is there anyway we can move hurricane out of the way if there come one in the future? Any technology we can use to do that?

  • @dmana3172 Yes, we can use the Magic Hurricane Removal Machine.

    You dumb fuck.

  • @dmana3172 Actually, there kind of can be, but it would be pretty controversial if one country cloud seeded a hurricane and it made a slight turn and devestated another country. Plus messing with nature has terrible effects. Hurricanes may seem bad, but it does actually benefit many native species. I have yet to see a Live Oak tree damaged by a hurricane. It loses its leaves, but the branches remain. Native palm trees have different ways of surviving hurricanes, whereas exotic palms don't.

  • mother natures way of telling us ... FUCK YOU ALL!

  • OMG!

  • @paintpro785 no he's right... it did hit mexico first.. it hit the Yucatan Peninsula....

  • 0_o This was on my B-day ...... creepy

i liked the video, but i dnt like the fact that it actually happened :/

  • lol the stop sign was like STOP STOP STOP STOP !!

  • @MrHellxboy ...but the wind didn't stop u.u

  • I remember the day exactly.

I was 6 and my sister was 4. My mom slept on the couch with my dog while me and my sister played Barbie dolls. Every time there was thunder my sister would cry. Hearing the howling of the wind, the tornado In our city, and not knowing what was happening.

After the storm I helped clean up and was grateful that the baby tree in front of my house was still standing.

  • @paintpro785

How were Wilmas winds 180 mph when the storm was a category 3?

  • @miranda111000 180 mph

  • so crazy how right after the high voltage explosions the storm did not gradually start...the peak of the winds just started right there...wow

  • Who remember the world's war movie? at minute 0o:13 the sound is so so seemed

  • i remember this very clearly, it lasted the entire day and we didnt get any of the eye, so it was constant. but me and my mom got drunk and had fun during the hurricane. afterwards, the whole neighborhood had a hurricane party, where we took all of our frozen and refrigerated food and cooked them on a grill. we took the battery powered satellite tvs and watched sports too. it was fun except the entire week after where we had no electricity, but us floridians are crazy people :D

  • hurricane wilma hit mexico not florida

  • It is not that bad...if it destroys schools.

  • I Remember wilma like it was yesterday! this was Floridas katrina! although we hat a direct hit from Katrina that year in Ft lauderdale! it was nothing compared to New Orleans!. Wilma was a whore.. hit from the west coast....and all the media hype said "not so much!" but wilma messed us up bad in laudy

  • That car at 0:50 is still parked there. How could this kind of storm not destroy it?

  • try to light up a cigartte in that xD

  • Oct 24 was my b-day

  • i was in the wilma hurricane trust me i am a kid it was scary

  • im here in belleview florida, things are sounding a little rough out doors, getting worried, checking weather channel, getting hurricane or i mean tornado warning on tv

  • I remember that hurricane. My shutters ripped off my windows and school was out for like a week

  • @mpcoex

Oh really? How so? Can you prove it?

How about you come down here during hurricane season and try living through one?

Maybe you will change your mind once you go through a few like me, my family, and friends have?

I have been through 4 major hurricanes and this was by far the one that caused the most damage

across southern Florida. I am not counting Andrew, because I was not living here at that time.

We had no power for about 6 days, and most large trees were ripped out of the ground.

  • @2012Gojira 6 days is all you lost? lucky... we were on the 4th grid so we didnt get power for almost 3 weeks. besides Andrew (i was a little over 1 year old) that was the worst hurricane I ever went through. Living in Boca that thing came off the everglades strengthening back up to a cat 3 (based off my wind readings) it was insane!

  • @2012Gojira 6 days? what city were you in? It was off for about 3 weeks here

  • @MizzyTheQueen

    Hollywood in Broward County

  • @2012Gojira hi, I live in Italy. There are no hurricanes here in Italy.you have all my sympathy.best wishes

    and sorry, as I write

  • @2012Gojira Well, you know how it is. People who have not been through a hurricane think it is a joke. My buddies from Boston just called me and said why are you afraid of these things. They just got the rain shower called Irene. They do not know or understand what a real hurricane is. Wilma!!. lived in Pompano at the time. Pure devastation and destruction. No power, phones or running water for 12 days. And everything destroyed. Real hurricanes are not a fucking joke. They can kill you.

  • @gethsenamane

    Yes, I do.

The same idiots who say "It's fake" or "That will never happen to me or my family." said about the major earthquake that shook the island country of Japan and destroyed almost half of it. There are a lot of idiots out there and that makes me sad. In other words, stupid people make me sad, cause they have no common sense whatsoever. And yes, I agree, hurricanes, tsunamis and earthquakes are no joke. I have family up north and I pray they are OK.

  • @mpcoex Youre a dumbass.

I remember being little when hurricane Charley and wilma happened,we had no water neither power for about a week,So what state do you live in? mid states?

  • @mpcoex Fake ?? This is the true power of the planet we live on. Your just a total moron.

  • and also me, oh very very thank GOD!!!! i live in philippines no hurricanes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • free car wash lol

  • A bit close?!! lol... that footage came from the thick of the action... quite probably in the actual eyewall for a short while (the storm was hauling ass and didnt stick about, thankfully)

  • Were you in a vehicle or something? It seemed like you were out in the open the whole time.

  • Look for your selves, man is nothing, nothing, but an insignificant maggot that defies God. This goes for all those fucking politicians, criminal thugs, mother fuckers in prisons that think they run it, and fucking mafias. Look you are nothing! Your fucking money is worthless. Your fucking arrogance is meaningless.

  • holy christ

  • Comment removed

  • this is exactly why i don't live in florida

  • 29 people were expecting a different kind of blow

  • ....Í´ve been there 2 month´s later and saw the huge damages, it was absolut unbelievable.....

  • I was in disney when this happend D:

  • At 0:13 is that lighting?

  • @EpikRice Those are explosions from a power transformer about a block away from my location. The noise you're hearing is the sound of high-voltage electrical arcing during the explosions.

  • @vmax135 woah

  • @vmax135 wat is the most powerfull and devastating hurricane in history? and where can i find a video of it.

  • @lagorbian well in florida, it had to be andrew. i myself didnt experience it, but ive heard alot from my parents ad other older ppl about it. think katrina in NO

  • @EpikRice yea :) you get used to it :/

  • @EpikRice no, transformer.

  • @EpikRice My guess would be transformers blowing up.

  • Comment removed

  • @EpikRice no, that whas an electrical power plant,, and transformer. I was living here when this tropical system hit.

  • @EpikRice yeah I live in Louisiana ive seen a hurricane happened lighting can get as bright as that

  • @EpikRice

doesn't look like transformer explosion... a transformer won't explode easily due to a fuse that would blow to prevent it from exploding

what you see is what i believe to be something hit the high voltage wires which caused either a phase to phase short or ground fault, in which causing a very large arc that was eventually cleared by a breaker

if there was an explosion you would've saw fire from the oil inside

  • hurricanes are fuckin scary

  • 2012 is in it's way!!!!!

  • Peoples Hair vs. Rhianna
