  • dog at 0:50

  • @masterevoixMR And your point is? The fack does a dog have to do with a gtr.

  • @natedawg1196 just wierd that theirs a dog in a performance shop

  • ^^^^ nobody can afford a veyron

  • @joyfulvulture, you said it just like who needs a veyron when you can buy a mid 90's supra with a nice 2jz, build it and boost it, 6 cylinders, 1 turbo 1400whp its been done so many times this is just one example, somebody gave me a ride in their nissan gtr, stock acceleration made me sick for a day lol

  • well at least ams now has kits to get 1000hp without having to do all this :p

  • its not about money its about reputation.....gtr has respect in racing industry!!!! bugatti doesnt have...

  • 5 people own kia's...

  • wait she brough it in?

  • I put 5,000hp in my Geo everyone! It's faster than the Veyron with less cylinders. I'm jizzing everywhere as we speak!!!

  • This is like fucking porn!!!!

  • DotsOnALine. You make the best point. Thanks. Buggati is amazing don't get ms wrong but the GTR is wanted everywhere in the world and is affordable

  • I love all these people defending a 2 million dollar hypercar they will never be able to afford while bashing a realistic car they could own with the same performance.

For 2 million you could buy a jet in Russia, Bugatti you fail.

  • @DotsOnALine

    seriously , a jet ?

  • @TheBigboySid Ya man, you can get a Mig 21 for under 2 million. Its even got 2 seat version. Good luck getting it into your garage, for that matter into your country.

  • even GTR has 1000hp.... i think it still cannot complete with bugatti veyron.....w16 engine can push the top speed.....bugatti veyron is build with aircraft expert

  • its 2011 wheres the rest of the video?

  • why is there a dog there (0:50) NOT SAFE DOGGY GO HOME BOY

  • whats the fuel cunsumption of this tuned thing compared to stock gtr?

  • wheres the follow up video to this

  • GD BUT I BET IF NISSAN WANTED TO USE THIER TUNIGN DIVISION NISMO TO BUILD A 1000HP CAR IT WUD ASS FUCK A VERYON

  • What's the top speed of this? O.o

  • Damn the car must belong to a drug cartel leader!

  • I'm sure Obama going on every talk show known to man will get the country back where it needs to be

  • I LOVE AMS ive been there a few times and im having them tune my custom turbo s-10 they arnt cheap but they are the best!!!

  • ok so actually HPF has done this before AMS, to build a completely new engine to reach 1000 whp is not easy but i think somehow these guys can do, the only thing to be concern about is the traction control.

  • this is far faster youtube.com/watch?v=npJB2rz2MZA&feature=related

  • but how reliable is that engine ? evan the stock gtr ??

  • Yep, gotta pay to play.

  • LOL WARRANTY VOID

  • @omid11 You think the man who could afford such a mod cares about waranty? ;)

  • @omid11 If the customer can afford to do this, they can obviously afford to fix anything that breaks too. The warranty is the last thing on their minds.

  • how many times a month do you need to take it for a service?

  • Nissan GT-R $80K

Custom AMS turbo kit and built motor $30K

    1000 whp Priceless

  • Comment removed

  • @cyclist14 not to burst your bubble, but that kit costs at least twice as much. Not saying it isn't worth every penny, there are just way more pennies involved =).

  • @cyclist14 I'm pretty sure it's gonna cost more than that... I think?

  • @cyclist14

no it actually cost you 110k do the math retard!

  • @TheTycarroll ur gay

  • @fatchris101

    actually im correct but whatever!

  • @cyclist14 its probably more then 30k for all that, more like 40k

  • Serious coin...but they probably worked out a deal since his car is the guinea pig. :)

  • AMS is the best! built my 93 eclipse with a 2.3 stroker and tuned my greddy turbocharged 07 si! thank you!!!!

  • i call them "The Tuner Doctors"

  • AMS free chucky

  • two words ..BALLER STATUS..lol

  • who needs 16 cylinders and 4 turbos when u can have 2 turbos and 6 cylinders with the same power...

  • Sounds better maybe.

  • @razemoshe what about gas?

  • @daxplil

But the Veyron's engine will probably last longer..

  • It might also be more economical whilst cruising

  • @daxplil how about HPF e46 M3 inline 6 engine built Stage 4 single turbo kit reached 1000 rwhp ? AMS is great but they DO need twin turbo to do 1000 whp and the HPF m3 only need 1 turbo to get over 1000 whp lol

  • @sankimtong well it would be correct to put a twin turbo in a v6 opposed to 1 turbo in an inline 6 becuase of the way the headers are built. but you can possibly put a single turbo in the gtr but if woulld have to be a BIG turbo. i love hpf by the way so you dont think im some sort of ams or gtr fan boy. both ams and hpf are great companies

  • @sankimtong inline motors give higher hp numbers with single turbos.... ala supra

  • @daxplil Someone who doesn't want lag.

  • @iBryk The agressive gearing of the GT-R as well as stroker kits keep the car in powerband and prevent lag.

  • Comment removed

  • Adding .3 liters won't change the fact that something close to 4 liters will lag with turbos that can produce 1000 hp. period.

Let's say it's twin turbo.. that means each 2 liters is pushing 500horsepower. Yeah.. it's going to lag.

It may however lower boost threshold. Maybe you are confusing the two?

  • @iBryk First, all turbos have lag even if you are running a 67mm turbo on a big block. Secondly the car has 3.8L of stock displacement hence the name of the motor VR38DETT. Third its stock gearing is really aggressive and keeps you in powerband at all times. Another thing is that the GTR with 1000awhp will feel faster than the Veyron due to its agressive gearing and lower curb weight (3800lbs to 4500lbs). The veryon is good but the AMS GT-R shows efficiency.

  • @kageryu311 If you read what I was replying to (your comment not mine), you were talking about stroking it.

First (lol), that WOULD add displacement.

Secondly, have you ever driven a car with a large turbo? I had a 450whp 2 liter k20a2. This is less power per liter than this GTR is requiring of the turbos. It still lagged 1-1.4 seconds before hitting full boost depending on where in the RPM band I was and assuming it was PAST the boost threshold.

It's going to lag a significant amount.

  • @iBryk Different motors respond to turbo induction differently. If you took two different motors of the same displacement with the same turbo size they will spool differently by design. It all depends of the setup. This car has less than 2x the displacement of a K20 but probably makes twice as much torque at idle.

  • @kageryu311 While I understand this, you are delusional if you think this car won't have seriously noticeable lag without nitrous or other aids.

  • @iBryk Why don't you actually look at the dyno sheets or road tests before actually saying this car is gonna be super laggy? The dyno sheet for this car show that it makes 700ft lbs of torque by 3500rpm. Thats a lot of torque at a low rpm. These car aren't hondas or Supras with gigantic turbos attached to them. The turbo upgrades are slightly bigger than the stock turbos allowing them to make lots of torque and midrange power. Your K20 probably had a huge turbo to lag significantly.

  • @iBryk Also AMS finished this car and got it to do a 9.13 @ 163mph in the 1/4 without the aid of nitrous oxide or antilag. That indicates that it has plenty of usable power.

  • @kageryu311 I bet if they put up a datalog of boost and tps vs time it would be well over 1 second to hit full boost. And no, that doesn't say anything.

That's all I got buddy. Even 1000whp corvettes lag a noticeable amount. I love turbos, but less than 4 liters pushing over 1000whp on an awd car is going to lag a good amount.

  • @daxplil Yeah true, but I think you are kind missing the point of the Veyron. Just sayin'.

  • @daxplil Reliability.

  • @gixxer450 I thought exactly the same, then read ur comment lol-.

  • @daxplil dude stfu when you don't understand anything about cars....show respect because the group of engineers who built the veyron are great minds, and you....you coudn't even construct the engine if they gave you the parts

  • @daxplil Apart from 16 cylinders and 4 turbo chargers give you 1000whp with RELIABILITY!!! A VEYRON COULD DO 100,000 MILES AND NOT FALL APART! I love tuning companys dont get me wrong and i love all kinds of cars ect but i know enough from experiance to tell you that this kit wont even last 1000 miles before it needs to be rebuilt fine as a drag car... SO WHY NOT BUILD A TRACK CAR, PUBLIC ROAD RACING IS FOR PUSSYS AND RICH KIDS RACING DADDYS CARS !!! GTR is not built for 1/4 mile runs anyway

  • @daxplil 16 cylinders and 4 superchargers*** not turbos and

  • @Youngunz1313 buddy... its a W16 engine or two V8 fusionated in a 90° angle to form a 16 cylinders engine with 10 radiators and 4 TURBOCHARGERS... have a nice day...

  • @daxplil someone with money could buy a 6 cylinder with 2 turbos, but someone with reputation could buy 16 cylinders and 4 turbos while the 6 cylinders and 2 turbos can't.

  • @daxplil

Let me ask you this. Is this "2 turbos and 6 cylinders" as reliable? Probably not.

  • @CJAEY Formula One cars back in the late 80's used to run twin-turbo V6's and blasting with 1200+bhp, best example was the Mclaren MP4/4 of Aryton Senna (powered by one such engine built by Honda). And the word from the grapevine is, F1 is going back to those engines in a few years.

  • @CJAEY it is still cheaper to fix regardless of reliability compared to the other things u hav to worry about in a bugatti such as tires, gas, and insurance

  • want

  • im subscribing to this. i want to see if they really accomplish it.

  • OMG, I saved $30,000 to buy NSX. Now. I have to save more just to get the GTR. Very nice car without attracting so much attention but can kick some any car out there.

  • Uuuh so I'm guessing you guys didn't make it? cause there's no part two to this video?

  • **1-0-0-0 WHEEL HORSE POWER IS REALLY SOMETHING IN A CAR THAT YOU CAN DRIVE ON THE FREEWAY-STREETS...ONLY IN AMERICA..IF I HAD THE MONEY...I WOULD HAVE SOME ONE MAKE MY CAR.....FLY...SMILE**

  • if this thing is done, it should be tested with the great Evo

  • damn thats crazy

  • I love that machine they use! Technology has come so far, almost anything is possible now.

  • AMS rocks.

  • Lol, why would you need a new engine to do 1000. Even the old RB could easily do it.

  • @clintonpuah No it can't. RB's will not mke more than 600whp with out a complete rebuild. Stop believing evrything someone tells you on a forum

  • @DVcustomZ 2jz can withstand 800 hp stock internals.....

  • @wardogmobius No they can't, Keep in mind I am not talking about a trip to the dyno and then 10psi daily. For one the 2JZ head bolts and gasket fail b4 500whp. I am talking a constant driven DD at that or close to that range. And also not just once. You chnge the Head gasket and head bolts then 650 or so. Yeah some ppl have dynoed a 2jz to 800whp stock but that is the exception not the rule

  • @DVcustomZ I will have to check on the 500 whp head bolts and gasket fail. Haven't heard that one. I will do research and then see if true.

  • @wardogmobius Def check that is the first thing to do your supra other than the obvious if you plan on running 20+ psi. Outside of that just like any other cast iron jap motor it can take loads of abuse. Greg ran 9's in his true bone stock short block 300z there is no other car on record (not some fiend of a friend BS) that ran 9's consistant for years complete bone stock short block. But head studs r the weaknes of most motors y do U think ARP makes so much money

  • @DVcustomZ Um. The 90's era 302 has been running 9's on the block for about 2 decades.

  • @RapturedPain What's your point It is an old motor any motor can run 9's proper tuning and build. I have the 4.6 and I am not a fan of stock fords. Thats like saying 67 camaro have been running 9's for decades it is an old car of course it has

  • @DVcustomZ Um....forged internals are not a complete rebuild. The stock RB block can run well over 1000hp. Adding forged crank, rods, and pistons isn't a complete rebuild. And can be done in one day.

  • @RapturedPain No that considered a bottom end rebuild which is the trouble spot in a cast iron cast piston motor. A stock RB cannot I repeat CANNOThandle 1000hp.

The heads will not even flow enough air to support that power the only thing on the RB that can hold that power (more than once) is the cast iron block. You are not informed I have worked on RB's

  • @RapturedPain You need to stop believing everything you R told. Buy a motor get your magical 1000hp from it (after it blows up at a 1/3 the power) rebuild get it to work and last over a year then race it take it to its limit at that point start telling me about what a motor will and will not do

  • @RapturedPain A stock RB will not Run well over 1000HP! You are confusing it with Toyota 2JZGTE motors! An RB will need to be swapped in to N1 block for that 1000HP goal before forged internals! On top of that Oil pump & other components will have to be changed!

PS. Before you start shooting arguments here. I am talking about a fully reliable & streetable 1000HP RB! Not a joke that was taken to it's limits on one dyno pull!

  • @AndreTwin Well they seem to run RB blocks almost constantly with upwards 800 to 900 hp all the time. I can understand some components need changed. No engine runs 1000 hp on all stock parts. But the RB block can handle the hp just fine.

  • @RapturedPain OK. There is a TON of difference between 800HP, 900HP & 1000HP. I will quote you again " The stock RB block can run well over 1000hp" Stock RB block is good for 600-650HP after that you are in the how long until it goes ZONE! You can fill the block with filler & make tons of HP on that block but we are talking about streetable HP! N1 block is the way to go! Forged internals can take you far but to have a fully streetable 1000HP RB you will need to start with N1 Block!

  • @AndreTwin So the RB block is going to be the first cast iron block that can't take over 1000 hp huh? What would you replace the block with?

  • @RapturedPain Topsecret R34 runs over 1000hp on a streetable car. CONSTANTLY!

  • @RapturedPain Are you serious? Again you said "The stock RB block can run well over 1000hp" By said that you are implying that rotating assembly being stock as well. And that is simply not possible! Stock RB26 block or bottom end is only good for 600-650HP after that you are in luck territory! That said most of the 1000 HP RB26 use N1 blocks for sole purpose of higher tolerances & stronger & thicker casting. We are talking about street not cement filled methanol motors! RB26 is not 2JZGTE!

  • @AndreTwin No it's not implying that. Block. BLOOOOOOOOCK. I didn't say the whole bottom end could handle 1000hp. Search Topsecret R34. They have a standered RB26 BLOCK. The rest is after market. You don't NEED a Nur spec block to have streetable 1000hp. It's better yes. But not needed.

  • @RapturedPain OK. That's funny considering that Top Secret Mr. Nagata only uses NISMO N (24U) Engine Blocks in all of his 800-1000HP packages! This Famous Drag R II R33 is running one!

    /watch?v=uVO7BckdSgo

Look. The point that I am trying to make is simple. There is a ton of difference between 800HP & 1000HP. Yes you can make 1000HP with Standard block & the best internals on the market but 95% of all tuners use N1 (24U) block for the reliability factor & that's what I am telling you!

  • @AndreTwin And all i'm telling you is that you don't NEED the N1. Yes it's more reliable. The stock block can take a beating.

  • @RapturedPain You have to realize that you can take just about any motor & rev the piss out of it to make high horse power. But when it comes to 1000HP & torque levels to mach that HP. It's only common sense to use the best parts for the JOB! There are 100s of guys claming 1000HP & have dyno sheets to prove it but when in action they all use about 700-800HP. Same with that TopSecret R34! Most of true 1000HP full time GTRs use N1(24U) block because they make 1000HP & use it not just on the Dyno!

  • ams sucks dick

  • @cdawg1113 AMS is cool, faster than henessy

  • man i want to do what these guys are doing

  • @VagMan123 you should take the steps to do so, seize the moment why wait

  • This thing will be sick!!!!!!!!!!!!! kiss my A*s mustang

  • be great if they post this when they were done

  • **I AM HAPPY WHEN MY CAR STARTS UP EACH MORNING TO TAKE ME TO WORK,,,,SMILE**

  • Why i live so far :S ....

  • *Guy from Waterboy* ......."YOU CAN DO IT!!!"

  • @BrandonJay1983 Guy from the longest yard "YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!"

  • how much is that gonna cost him to get it to be 1000awhp? not to mention be the first to have that

  • Saw their 9 second gtr for the first time today, SWEET!

  • ams cant do everything there tuning is nothing compared to power enterprise and hennessy

  • When will we get an update on the blog??? I'm dying to see what kind of progress has been made!

  • I really wish ams worked on a better car.

  • how's the GTR now? i didn't see any other videos about it.

  • GO! Guys GO!

  • 1000WHP that's crazy

  • They got a 764whp GTR in the 9s so this one should get into the 8s if they set everything up right. Good luck AMS!!!

  • SEQUEL NOW!!!!

  • this is cool and all, but wouldn't that mess up its handling around a track? I mean, nissan put a shitload of time and effort to make this thing flawless.

  • yeah very true man...but ah well....like everything...people with a passion for power and who have money will modify anything

  • After add the hourses the gtr will fly :)

  • some news about the advancement of the tune ?

  • I love the color combo on that GTR. I hope great success to this project and hope more people push the limits of the GTR to new potenials.

  • fuck off

  • Boost logic and MVP motorsports are trying to do the same thing.

  • I know top secret and HKS trying to do the same. I hope everyone pulls it off

  • AMS can do anything!!!!

  • @gmax876 Correction....MONEY can do anything.

  • @OS1TOuno Imagine 2 fully loaded tractor-trailer rigs hitting the GTR's drivers' and passengers' doors simultaneously at 70 mph. Question: How much money would it take to accomplish this with no injuries?

  • @seapeddler About $45 dollars,.......The cost of the alky the 2tractor rig drivers bought b4 they decided to drive and hit a GT-R.

  • @OS1TOuno A precise science indeed.

  • @seapeddler 8 )

  • What is the status on this car? We have two GTRs with built transmissions already, the first one is on a stock motor with big turbos (won't say specs).. the clutches in the trans started slipping at 708whp (with cats). We now have one with even bigger turbos, a built motor and built trans that will hit the dyno before Januray is up.

  • I'm sorry but I call bullshit without vids. Its not that you don't have these projects but I need a link or vids.

  • \the vid was just made a month ago, so i would imagine its status is not complete yet.....

  • OF COURSE U got cash if u can buy one of these sure he put as much into it as a lambo or ferrari would cost even less i bet.. probably 100k in mods and labor for 1000whp lol gonna be sick car titanium burnt tip in middle back bumper looks badazz!!!!!!!!!!!!1111

  • This customer must have some Serious Cash!

  • @Birmo08030 How much do you think this will cost?

  • @MatchCard Well considering AMS are one of the most recognised tuners, They will not be cheap. They are having to rebuild basically everything, I couldnt even begin to think how much it would cost - But it must easily be $30'000+

  • @Birmo08030 Not for long, by the time Obama is finished none of us gonna have any Cash lol

  • @zyou8er or you can make the arguement that bush put us more in debt and none of us had no money to start with when obama came in

  • @HPISAVAGE11 You got a point, but lets see if you will agree that Obama has put us more in debt then any other president. He out spent Bush in his first 8 months as a president :)

  • @zyou8er what bush spent/still spending just on the war in iraq far beats anything that obama has spent on. you dont blame the janitor for the mess created by someone else. hopefully the economy gets better which it will but will take time. i have nothing against bush or obama but i just dont like how people keep blaming obama for all the cureent problems we're going through. thats my 2 cents:)

  • can't wait any more for this evil

  • Can´t wait to see this "Godzilla" on the road, keep up the good work!!!

    Then post videos!

  • Its going to show those mullets whats up!

  • Finally!!! Its about time someone do this to the GT-R. They need to get this car into the 9s and the 8s.

  • I wonder since the transmission is similar to the mitsu shift system in the evo x do you think they will make aftermarket tranny parts for the evo x and other paddle shift cars?

  • that computer program you have to build the new engine is crazy. good luck with the build

  • Yeah but the R36 is a hybrid with 600bhp that should be something!

  • lol Nissan needs to hire you guys for their next super car~!

  • just perfect!

  • Wonder how long it will take yall to do that

  • I like the dog sniffing around there ;)

  • this is going to be so gooood

  • awaiting the awakening of godzilla
