  • i love this dance at partiees ;)

  • This is really annoying because i need the guy to sing to.

instrumental then sing that is dame annoying.

  • i don't give a fuk man... this fucking beat hella fucking knocking

  • Why care about who he is...

The more important thing is to enjoy the music sung by him.

  • Sa bai dee ka !!! I enjoy this music, Jing Jai, khob khun ka !!!

  • is he white?

  • Wow-

    ว๊า...มวนเด๊

    แท๊งส

  • true, this is a lao song...and funny thing most of east thailand was laos...thats why they call that region thai/lao issan. They speak lao, instead of the traditional thai. nonetheless, this is a pretty good remake. Regardless of it being thai or lao.

  • I'm Khmer and I give Lao more credit for preserving their heritage and culture. Thai people try too hard to be white!

  • thanks for sharing. this guy is pretty good

  • yea my mom does karaoke to this shit er day

  • love the song so much...good singer too..:)

  • Mal -Lum came form the TaiLao people of Ai-Lao Kingdom that was formed after the fall of Nanchao after the Mongol invasion.

  • wow! i like this song. it a good song to dance to.

  • makes me feel bad because jonas speaks more thai and lao than i do and im lao damn it...for shame. lol

  • Guys I don't think other races care what the hell we are, we are all asian to them, and for us we don't classify brits, french, canadians we just call them white. There's really only 1 race when it comes down to it. The human race.

  • MEMORIES

  • i thought the singer was a normal thai person

it was actually a mikas instead of what i think of

though i like this song, plus my lil sis dance with this song

& i think that most of the dancer were jus mikas

  • 916-349-6216....I HAVE A SAH RA WAN INSTRUMENTAL....Pink-e...

  • really??...can i get it??

  • this sarawan remix is pretty good, its more pop now.

  • ok, well, whatever, but I like the song a lot and think the mv is great! good job.

  • i think the song is great but he does look kinda gay

  • uhh...okay??...well since hmong people are so bad name something we did wrong in laos or thailand...all we did was live in the mountains away frm everyone else and didnt want to bother anyone...ya'll are the one's who came in and disturbed out peace...but anywho...love the song love the costumes...woot woot jonas..^^

  • the song is great. love the beat

  • he's not a freak...he's really whit he's juss fluent in thai...maybe he was raised there...such a rude comment to make.

  • i like this song. its catchy! ^_^

  • that rite !!!!

  • OMG, who cares about all this Thai, Khmer, Laos crap, just enjoy the damn music, it's here for u to listen to the music, not about what's what, who's this and who's that.

  • he's cute!

  • I'm not here to argue just to enlighten the misinformed. If it was up to me there would be no Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, or Burma. If it was up to me I would erase all the borders and rename the land Sovannaphoum. I would unite all peoples of Angkor, Ayutthaya, Champa, Dvarati, Haripunchai, Pagan, Lanna, Luang Prabung, Sukhothai, Bali, Sumatra, and Java. If the people of Sovannaphoum came together and made it a reality, WE WOULD BE A WORLD SUPERPOWER and be rivaled only by China and America.

  • That would be nice. the chance of that happening is 0 to none though.

  • Strixxer YOU are the one that's wrong, Pali is only the VERBAL language of Buddhism, it doesn't have it's own script. The script used to write Pali is Devanagari or Brahmi. Khmer comes from Brahmi, and Lao comes from Mon-Khmer. Ancient Khmer alphabet was used to write Pali and Sanskrit Language in Burma, Cambodia, Thailand and LAOS. Why do you think Thais still used ancient Khmer script for their Pali yantra tattoos and not their own script even though they hate Khmers with a passion???

  • KHybride, you're correct about Fa Ngum but not the Lao writing system. You must remember that Buddhism existed with Lao people long before Lao people immigrated from China, it just so happen that we share the same Thevabuddhism. Fa Ngum brought from Angkor are royal court dance and an instrument that sit on the floor like boat. These thing I'm not gonna argue about, but the Lao writing isn't influenced or brought from Angkor. Sorry KH, you're wrong on the Lao brought writing system from Khmer...

  • Lao script is derived from Khmer AND Mon. Thai is derived from Khmer. Khmer is derived from Pallava (Ancient Tamils from Sri Lanka). Mon and old Java is sister script of Khmer. But Lao and Thai is a child script of Khmer. Lao is more based on Mon, Thai is SIMPLIFIED Khmer. Lao and Thai numerals are 100% Khmer. Fa Ngum, Lao king of Vieng Chan, was raised in Angkor, married to a Khmer princess named KeoKengKanya. His son Samsenthai is half Khmer, son of KeoKengKanya and grandson of Jayavaraman.

  • Salavan is a province in Laos, and every regions or province in Laos has its own unique song or Lum, don't you again claim Lao stole Lum_ you Khmer? Lao and Khmer language isn't even close, it's more night and day. Lao writing isn't from Mon aka Ka, it's from Pali (it's from Tham which is a Buddha script). Thai writing is based from Mon and Laos script isn't from Thai either. Lao isn't even influence by Khmer either.Go ask your daddy, or granddady before you start to fire your hole. Insecure KG

  • impressive

  • Saravan teaw long....saravan teau long....

Ai nyum kik huak nong yu nai tok lok vae la

nung der...prova nong pin khoun sui nga der....

  • Influenced is not copied, it's the same as saying adopted, why don't you go and read and write lao and thai characters then if you say we copied everything see if you can understand. our culture are similar yet distinct in so many ways.

  • what the title of this cd?

  • that white guy seem cute

  • wow, first off Lao writing system is based on Thai writing system and we didn't copy we adopted like many other things. But our culture is still distinct.

  • Actually no Laos was the orignal and Thai wanted to change it so they can be distinct and modern. =P

  • im talking about way before they even had that technology,we Laos did not take or copy anything you should learn about laos...its pretty interesting and i know about the khmer empire how big and powerful it was...but We the Laos broke free from that thx to the founder n 1st king of laos CHAO FA NUMG and our language n most stuff came from the Mons(Myanmar,Burma)about the Wat n other thing,no u guys didn't built it,take this da 4 explaple da monument n vientiane n what about Ayutthaya n thailand

  • no ur wrong.I am sure the original is Khmer because I heard the 1960's version of it too. Also the Khmer empire was the first to be here and all u people stole our land, copy our culture tradition, dance style, music, & claim that is yours. Know your history. Khmer were the first to settle in SE Asia that's why we have the Great Ankor Wat and many ancient ruins in Laos & Thai.

  • i hekkuh like this song...

  • OH Dang!!! I love this song!!! Where can I download this song???

  • Great song love it!

  • I remember this song 31 years ago when I was 11 years old in Ubon Thailand, have not speak Thai or Lao since. Bring back great memories, and still remember the words, can't believe it. This is great.

  • White-washed? :) Yes I am. But, honestly, who said I was sticking up for white people? I'd be a hypocrite if in my previous comment, I was sticking up for them. But no. I didn't. All I said was that, you don't need to have the same traditions in order to perform another races' things. We hmong don't have a traditional dance. Instead, we dance like Thai Isans, maybe a little bit of chinese, and sometimes India. So what? *omg*

  • why do people keep hating on this dude..

hes koolman... face the fact that he can sing in thai.. and mayb the most famous thai singer too

  • hes gud but everbdy knos that hes not the best singin mike piromporn is the best

  • thats true.. but people gotat give him some credit for singing so well.. right?.. i mean its not even his culture and he exceeds it..

  • luv this song 4eva. we danced to this song. it was the bomb. ill never 4get this song. luv ya lots jonas anderson.

  • this kinda confuseing. boc cow? dude, white people and lao/thai people dont have the same traditions!!!

  • who cares if they dont have the same tradition. this guys voice is amazing tha's all. besides he and kristy gibson are the best white people that has ever sung thai.

  • You don't need to make a racist comment that is unnecessary like this one. Jonas Gibson (the thai singer) was raised up in Thailand with his sister Kristy Gibson when they were babies. They lived in Thailand ever since they were infants, so no need to hate. And it doesn't matter about traditions when it comes to having a talent/gift because Jonas and his sister are definately talent.

  • That's true but he was raised from a child in Thailand. He lived and breathed our traditions and his way of showing appreciation for our country is by learning and mastering the language and traditions. That's all that matters...we should be happy that someone not of our race appreciates it enough to sing and stay in Thailand

  • This is not BURMESE this is Lao my Friend.

  • What do you mean Amen?

  • Oh man this song is the best. Even us teenagers bump this song during gatherings.

  • i don't know thai but this is a dancing song, huh?... he's telling them how to dance and follow thier partner... cool!! how cute!

the thai girl... i like her hand movements... and she's gorgeous!!

  • they've got white people dancing in thai too?!... that's cute!... the thai girl dancing with the singer is really cute... nice outfits... :D

  • Can someone please translate the lyric in english? I would love to understand the song. It has a nice beat to it. LOVING IT :) Thanks

  • Mesmeryze: Low down Saravan (3 times), a little down Saravan. Now I will sing: Flower bud is there to sprout, the one I grown in the forest.... By the way, do you know where is Saravan.

  • Saravanh is in laos..

  • Why is it that people start fightin when they watch a vid. You're suppose to enjoy it. I don't care if the song is from Laos, Thailand or Cambodia. Either way, it sounds nice in all those languages because I've heard them all. Let's just listen and enjoy and keep the negativity out. Peace be with you.

  • OMG...this is my FAVORITE PARTY SONG LOL!

  • my favorite song......

  • c'mon guys. what is up with all the argument. we all came from the same place, living under the same sky. and probably pray to the same god (budah) can't we all just get along.

  • @halfblood4 i understand ur meaning but Buddha isn't a "GOD" he's a teatcher.. a teacher for you to live ur life the best and maybe someday you will find inner peace.. that inner peace that everybody wants but rarely finds....

  • Isan is Lao. In a early 1900 France gave most of Lao to Siam. By the way lam saravan is Province of Saravan,Lao. Siamese take some parts of Cambodia, Lao, Malaysia and Burma. Siam always have treat Isan badly until the Commie Took over Indochina in 1975 that is when they changed there ways. Think about it.

  • all the album he sing is thai but is different because of what part you are living in thailand
