A bird is a creature of the air or Heavens & to form a bird from clay (clay is water [water = wisdom] mixed with dust [dust = lowliness or a poor state]) by God's permission is to raise a lowly people (dust) & elevate them with Wisdom from God Himself so that they can now "fly" into the "heavens" or the heights of superior wisdom & understanding. A bird is a creature of the air or Heavens & to form a bird from clay (clay is water [water = wisdom] mixed with dust [dust = lowliness or a poor state]) by God's permission is to raise a lowly people (dust) & elevate them with Wisdom from God Himself so that they can now "fly" into the "heavens" or the heights of superior wisdom & understanding. That TRULY is the work of Jesus. That's how I justify that.
