could someone HELP me? does anyone now how to find the sheet music (maybe a link)? i've been looking for it for over a year now, been to several music stores but i couldn't find anything. i would be very grateful for any kind of help!thanks!
Thank you for this music. Yes, there is anger and why not! We should never forget that cruelty exists among us. Thank God for Komitas to remind us that we need to take a different path. I went as a tourist to Armenia because I wanted to know more Armenian music and history. I was truly humbled. I came home with one vinyl disc of Komitas and searing memories of the memorial site at Yerevan to those murdered in 1915. That was 25 years ago and I still cannot forget. Bless you for this video
wow no offense but this was really horrible -_- maybe you should start off by doing something less complex not that this is hard because it personally took me a few days to learn it
Komitas wrote this piece to reflect on what he witnessed during the Armenian Genocide of 1915 when 1.5 million Armenians were killed and displaced from their homes by the Turkish government.
The Genocide, which took place in the spring, is the reason for why the piece is called "Spring" or "Karouna". It's rather ironic though this explains why it is played angrily.
Komitas later died in a Psychiatric hospital where he suffered mentally, and emotionally from the atrocities of the Genocide.
Its an unbelievable piece. HARD AS hell to play...so dont blame her for making some mistakes. Shit, its kinda impossible to play it without a single mistake. If you see it being played, your hands cross like every 5 seconds trying to hit the notes. You messed up a bit, but who cares, its great anyway. Good job!
um, i'm sorry, but this piece is actually pretty easy. Well, maybe for me, i've been playing for 12 years. I'm actually gonna perform it in a few weeks and i'm embarassed to play it since its for like 13 year olds.
Jamie, good job, playing on stage is never easy (at least not for me), but at the time, patrast cheyr. Mikani tegher falsh er lsvum xcept from the bigger messups. Sorry for being super picky lol
the correct name must be "it's spring" (the original is "Karun a"). good performing of a better translation to piano. Please search and listen to the vid "Ierginkn ambel a" in youtube, and comment it.

This one, more familiar ,strikes on my nerves
as piano cords, old souvenirs, buried profoundly before my childhood; i feel never
the-less the melancholia of Komitas or probably mine.

I agree. She plays it way too angrily rather than smoothly as it titled "Spring"
Anyway, E for effort. lol
