this gun is a plastic piece of shit. The trigger safety (plastic) fell out of the trigger when Gun World did their test. The sear broke on a cop shooting one at the range and it went full auto and got him under the chin and killed him. Anyone who has ever been in combat will echo my sentiments.

I do plan on buying the 26 soon though, but with the +2 grip extension. i think that brings it to 12+1 which is enough.. the 17 is a beast to carry and conceal, not that i care about the bulge under my hoodie. :-()

I also have a Glock 19 (gen 4) and love it! Glocks Rock! But for my carry I use a smaller gun with more stopping power (Ruger LCR .357 magnum in SuperTuck holster.) I love both of them!

Your "carry system" doesnt include night sights? I think using night sights should be a given on any carry gun.

I do like the RTF grip though, although I prefer a glock 23 over a 19 for self defense. I own a 23 and am considering getting a CCW permit.

Thanks for posting the video. I'm looking at a Glock 19 as my first firearm purchase. Seems like the right choice for me as an all purpose weapon.... sport, home defense, carry if needed. Debating Gen 3 vs Gen 4. Leaning Gen 3 (in the RTF) as a proven design. Little concerned about the new spring in the Gen 4 and overall reliability issues out there with the new model.

MAGTECH, SPEER, CORBON, or HORNADY. Purchase either hollow points, or ammo with expaning polymer balls. I use Magtech ($25 for 8 bullets).
