ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! Especially the theme of support for Obama, who is the biggest traitor of the USA there ever was, deserving of a trial, conviction, and termination of his life for his TREASON!
Imagine YOU loose your job(loose the health coverage) and have to pay a CT scanner for somebody from your family...
Or imagine your kid needs a heart surgery or something riskier and the company you work for denies to pay for it cause of the 'low success rate' or cause they've 'evaluated' it as 'unneeded'...
You're just so fucked up people... I mean you see no problem in funding directly from your pockets PRIVATE military corporations to kill children overseas but somehow helping your own fellow American and his/hers kid is HUUUUUUGE problem that will 'push US into communism'... Good God... It would be funny, but somehow I find it sad...
The worlds richest nation leaving children to die if their parents can't pay...
@Orthodoxcrusader where are people being left to die? private charities always step in when people can't afford it, now if people don't speak up when they need financial help and die because of that, it's unfortunate.. as someone who has been heavily involved in charity work, I've never seen someone who's come and asked us for help left to die simply because they can't afford it, that's ridiculous.. it's not the federal government's responsibility
'Private charities'?!? Don't make me laugh, please... They can't cover not even 1% of the case... I mean that's like me personally deciding to help someone and deciding whom to help... If it was an official system embedded in the states institutions it wouldn't still cover 1000% but would do a significant part... atleast 70%... With citizens giving only few hundreds of dollars(or even much less) on a monthly basis...
@Orthodoxcrusader well we are all born with free will, some chose the right path some don't. However, I still maintain that The Federal Government does not belong in this business, our founders wanted a limited central government. If people want to do it at the state level, I'm perfectly willing to have that debate because this country was built on the sovereignty of the states. It is a state government issue to me.
But that would only make it more complicated, the birocracy bigger and the overall service unbalanced... Unbalanced as some states would apply it better than the others and some wouldn't apply it at all... I guess sometimes they wouldn't allow you getting what's needed done in another state cause you technically aren't their 'citizen' so to say... It would only open new problems... Federal government handling it eases the job...
@Orthodoxcrusader now we are getting somewhere! trust me states will do a fine job - the problem we are running into today, is that too much pressure is already being put on the fed to provide for us. The Social Security, medicare and medicaid unfunded liability is astronomic - makes your complaint about military spending look like pocket change, that is not a sustainable solution.
Actually citizens wouldn't have to give nothing extra Just transfer few billions from multy(multiplied by 5-6 hundreds) billionic military budge. I simply can't understand people giving money to fund building a ultra-tech armada of from F-35s, F-22s, Supercarriers fighting people armed with a c4 straps, AK47s and boxcutters.
LOOK NO COUNTRY SCREWED ITSELF UP BY BEING HUMANE AND TAKING CARE OF IT'S OWN PEOPLE! MANY COUNTRIES WERE SCREWED BY THEIR GOVERNMENT BECOMING TOO GREEDY AND BLOODTHIRSTY.
that's not what has been proposed, I am 100% for a defensive as opposed to an offensive military strategy, so what's your point? I honestly don't think you get it, I'm trying to talk about health care and you keep bringing up the military, and I'm not the one typing in all caps "taking care of it's own people" This country was founded on the premise that individuals had certain unalienable rights, rights which sole source is our creator. We DONT want a cradle to grave society, which ur promoting
Ok... Personal responsibility... Ofcourse... But some exceptional case, like people in actual need(not missing cigarettes or being unable to afford new SUV) should be helped out... I mean really...
My country has that kind of support... And, sorry I'll bring up the military yet again, it has a year income much likely to be compared to those B-2 bombers at Guam than to your military budget... And look Russia... Their military budget is incomparable to yours still anyone who even thinks of attacking them is a lunatic... That's still enough for defense of the vastest territory and potentially ending everything in a nuclear holocaust...
In the majority of worlds countries of which many are incomparably poorer than the US, including mine, people DO have quite humane form of the heltcare system... Not to mention that it seems logical the army funds itself, especially when it's the army that fight for the interests of the corporate elite, not the protection of the people...
P.S. In my country most of the people can't afford to have two American SUVs(many can't even one) but they CAN afford a CT scanner..
I was only a bit indirectly referring to a fact that you must be a person who really doesn't respect self much to play stupid for a handful of dollars...
Simplified even more, HE IS A FUCKING MORON, NOT A BAD ACTOR!
