we recently bought a 2009 Borrego EX V8. Great car. Smooth as smooth can be. Great styling with the 18 inch alloys and the Copperhead color. Even though it is a V8, I have gotten 22.5 MPG on the highway. About 18 city. Great SUV if you are looking.

Those reviews are sometimes biased and not accurate. For example they say the ride feels bumpy and disconnected, which is total bullcrap. The ride is very quiet and comfortable.

Bullshit. My mom has a 2007 Hyundai Tiburon. Its a manual. And it has never broke down before. we have never had any problems with it. Good car. Plus she has put 27,000 miles on it. Looking from your perspective you probably drive it rough and you don't take care of it very well.

Toyota Avalon and Honda Accord are made in U.S, both has only L4 and V6 engines available. Hence, slighty advantages of Genesis has over both Avalon and Accord is it V8 engine, upper grade interior and asian manufacture (what is better than it american counterparts). Anyway, the Genesis is supposed to compete with Lexus but not with Toyotas nor Hondas XD

Have GX 470 but terrible one, Dealers can't fix the shock sensor for good.... On and off it rocks.. Took to the dealer service and half the time it rides fine.. After 10 times of visit they changed to new struts but the problem still exits. My warranty is just over and I have to live with it..
My 12 year old altima never had a problem and still runs good.. So the conclusion, Kia has my vote, after 100,000mile get rid of Gx and buy Kia...
Kia plans to deliver a 3.0L disel powered Boreggo by 2010. I say, send the V6 Hybrid instead. There's no way I'd spend more money on a weaker engine. But a V6 Hybrid Boreggo, now that's another story.

well my suburban 2500 only has to be filled up once a MOUNTH thats going shopping taking kids to school going to the water park getting parts for lawnmowers and ect. and its a 1998 with a 6.5 liter turbocharged!
How is that possible? I have a 2002 Suzuki XL-7 which is a 2.7 Litre V6 and 183 HP (probably less than that now) and we terribly only get 17 MPG. We fill it up every few days. If I cannot get that much mileage out of a smaller, somewhat more technologically advanced engine, how do you get that much out of your 6.5? Unless you have an extended range tank...but seriously I would like to know how, I simply cannot stand driving an SUV any longer!
we opened up the vacume on the turbo which gives it 12 more mpg than stock add the duel exaust and it gives you great fuel milage also note is is a 6.5 DEISIL which gets better milage that gas the fuel cost more but it has about i dont know but it is more than 23 mpg!

Yes. I am a Proud Kia Owner. I have a 2004 Kia Optima LX 4 Clynder. I NEVER had a problem with my car and it NEVER left me stranded. It is very reliable and saves gas. So like I stated before, Dont tall S**t unless you own a KIA.

Like I stated before, I have NEVER owned a Kia,but I, personally know people who have one and had one. They are and were NOT satisfied with their Kia AT ALL! I am a proud owner of a 1994 Toyota Camry LE 4 Cylinder. It has over 200,000 miles and I guarantee my car runs smoother, drives better, and has better gas mileage than your car. I put my life on it! What reputation does Kia have? The Toyota Camry IS the best-selling car in America. Has "Kia" conquered that title yet?...Didn't think so......

TOYOTA just happens to be on the OIL SLUDGE ENGINE LIST and GUESS WHAT?? The August 1996-July 2001 Toyota Camrys ave OIL SLUDGE ENGLINES. KIA has NEVER had problems with OIL SLUDGE. also KIA has a BETTER WARANTEE (10 YEARS 100,000 MILES) and STAND BY BY THEIR CARS unlike TOYOTA (who offers a 36 months/36,000 mile waranty). KIA has a BETTER reputation for quality than it has in the past. TOYOTA started off just like KIA did, MANY PEOPLE seem to FORGET about cars like the TOYOTA PREVIA

I don't have ANY problems with my Camry. I have a 94 Camry, not a 1996-2001 Camry. Mine is one of a kind! Oh, and Kia would have that type of warranty because their cars are THAT cheap and Kia knows people gonna have problems, thats why they have that type of warranty. Oh, and might I add, the Toyota Corolla is the BEST-SELLING car of ALL TIME!!! So,what does that tell you about Toyota? Toyota is what Kia wants to be when it grows up! Kia will NEVER have the reputation or durability of Toyota!

Oh PLEASE, Your mad because TOYOTA cannot AFFORD to offer the BEST warantee. if TOYOTA is so great then why do they need to be BAILED OUT along with GM, FORD, and Crystler?? KIA is doing JUST FINE selling RELIABLE, QUALITY, FUEL EFFICIANT CARS. and as far as durability, TOYOTA is just as dainty as its Lexus devision, the slightest tap will bend the damn bumper. Kia Amanti and the Sportage SUV ranked the HIGHEST scores in their segments in the J.D. Power and Associates 2005 Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study. Not TOYOTA!!! Nobody can tell me anything because I KNOW that KIA is not the company that they used to be, they are not cheap cars any more, they are very well built.

I think it's just the thing our manufacturers need, a kick in the ass. The 4.6 Mustang is rated at 300 hp at the flywheel and Hyundai and Kia have a 337 hp 4.6. Exactly what our manufacturers need, and it looks 10X better than anything except the GM SUV's.

It's all a matter of opinions, the Trailblazer's, Tahoe's, and Suburban's are some of the best looking ones on the road. Their fullsize trucks are ass ugly but they did a good job on the SUV's

Have you guys driven one? They drive awesome! When Kia brought us one to drive we compared it next to the 4 Runner. Guess which one was better? The winner isn't from Japan if that answers the question. Bad timing with Chevron bending us over but it would have sold really well a year ago.

I am serbian and although my english is not the best, at least I am capable of speaking in 7 diferent languages.Japanese, chinese mandarin, french, espanish, italian and portugues. No, you're wrong. This kia borrego was based on the concept called "Mesa" which was way before the current tribeca. On the other hand, the current tribeca borrowed a lot from the Santa FE.

This is true American SUV's buyers like American SUV's in general they are unlikely to look at imports. SUV's in general are less reliable than cars because of what they do and how they do it. It will be interesting what will happen when the balljoints meet the warranty. Like we have seen it with the Toyota Tundra onece the tailgates start falling out those who will buy an SUV from a Kar company may be sorry. I hope it will have a 5 star crash test rating.

How is that possible? I have a 2002 Suzuki XL-7 which is a 2.7 Litre V6 and 183 HP (probably less than that now) and we terribly only get 17 MPG. We fill it up every few days. If I cannot get that much mileage out of a smaller, somewhat more technologically advanced engine, how do you get that much out of your 6.5? Unless you have an extended range tank...but seriously I would like to know how, I simply cannot stand driving an SUV any longer!

we opened up the vacume on the turbo which gives it 12 more mpg than stock add the duel exaust and it gives you great fuel milage also note is is a 6.5 DEISIL which gets better milage that gas the fuel cost more but it has about i dont know but it is more than 23 mpg!

Diesels are much more efficient. I have a 3.7L V6 Dodge and i only get 17MPG while my bro has a 5.4L V8 Diesel and he gets at least 22mpg.
