RE4 Wii version is still good, shame they didn't update the textures to made it look better in HD... which is one of my only few gripes with it. The 'tank' controls do seem pretty dated now.. however, being able to move the camera angle helps ALOT in may situations. Thinking of trying out RE and RE:0 on the Wii also, but both seem to haver got mixed reviews (think they'll be 2nd hand purchases anyway just in case)

Nintendo Wii is by far the best system to play resident evil games. It has all of them, except RE 5. And despite your taste, RE Zero and RE Remake are better games. More smart games.

This game didn't speak to me =/ After eight hours of mud and cold castles (except for that one very hot room :P ), and an unrelateable main character with a whiny sidekick, I just lost interest. It was very rewarding to shoot the head of 'zombies' with excellent controls, but the overall experience was a little to dark for my taste.

@MrZekeus on top of the wii the plastic opens there you can plug your controllers in and your gamecube memory cards so you can also play your gamecube games.

People if you are put off for some reason by the control don't be as you do not have to use the wii remote and Nunchuck you can use the classic controller or a Gamecube controller! :d

No, the only one that isn't true is RE5. It focuses on all action oriented gameplay and NOTHING like survival horror. RE4 is true because it's a blend of both.

Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros Brawl, Mario Kart Wii, Zelda Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3, No More Heroes, MadWorld, Dead Space Extraction, Muramasa: The Demon Blade Punch-Out, and Boom Blox.

And be sure to get New Super Mario Bros Wii, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, Silent Hill Shattered Memories, and Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles when they come out later this year.

Resi 5 wasn't bad it was just a little bland. You were no longer fighting for your life in a mansion, collapsing city ect you were just in Africa, and the locations were mostly cliche and boring. Action is good in a game but resi 5 could have done with a bit more imagination in the areas.

RE5 sucked dude. The only reason it sold is because it was a ''resident evil''. Give it a different name, and people wouln't have even know it was suppose to be related. I mean it i mean its no longer zombies, its in an open environment and its not scary at all. RE is made to be horror and the developers totally killed it. Believe me i work at a game store and we got about 100 of these games that were returned by the customers.

Yeah I agree, Resident Evil was never v scary for me I always found Project Zero/Fatal frame games scarier. RE5 was boring, the partner AI was terrible and the control scheme was dated. I can see why ppl would return it.

After five long months of searching, I finally found the game in a store for 30 Euro. I don't know why this game is hardly available in The Netherlands, especially because the Wii doesn't have a lot of good games.

yeah get it! also if you have a wii get the wii version and save your self the trouble of finding the gc version. the wii version is compatible with the gc controller even though it doesn't say it on the box. it is.
