@sezzbw: evidently it's about his fiancee (now wife) leaving her home in another state to move in with Isaac before they married in 06. "All we know is distance/ kiss away the difference" is a reference to the long distance relationship. His wife supposedly doesn't like the song and I guess that is why the line: "I know you hate this one"
