Dante's Divine Comedy, of which Inferno is the first part, is one of the greatest works of literature, pity that this is 'Inferno' in name only...ah what could have been...

I love how people bitch without giving it a chance, much less think. If you have a brain in your head you would see that a loyal adaptation of the poem absolutely would not work as a video game. Period. A game has to draw people in and have an element of fun so the change was absolutely necessary and yes the game is very fun, people are just too bull-headed to give it a chance. And throughout the game there are tons of tributes to the original poem so it isn't like they didn't care.

Not that th original poem isn't great or even better it is but it just wouldn't work as a video game. It works great as a book, it would work great as a live action film, but as a video game, this appears the only way it could be done.

Yeah its like animatrix and its being produced by famous Japanese anime creators like the creators of Ghost in the shell, Samurai Champloo, Blood the Last Vampire, Ergo Proxy.

I think the creator of Watchmen animator was also invlove.

Difficult to judge the quality of the animation, they're too many cuts in that trailer. But they are a few Kawajiri moments in there, even though I don't know if he's participated in that anthology.

Sounds exciting but breathtaking? I don't think so. Maybe if the animation was a bit better, then yeah. But man the animation isn't even as a good as a anime tv series from the looks of this trailer.

They didn't put much effort into it. I've seen a whole lot better. (perhaps they weren't paid enough =p)
