  • Now I always thought the album version of Spooky was complete poo but this mix is top! It's made me discover a song I always skipped because I thought I hated it!

  • sorry.never got them.always thought the 80's was a wasteland of music, particularly the brit electronic stuff.went nowhere.it's almost like disco in its irrevelance.

  • @oleole52 "always thought the 80's was a wasteland of music" OMG! I never thought I would ever hear anyone say that!! The late 70's/80's were the best time for music ever.

  • this is crap

  • ...great version,brilliant

  • hello..richard heslop the director here...i not sure about this video now, seemed like a good idea at the time..its got me( short blond haired bloke ) my girlfriend at the time tamzin haughton and tim burke in it,we shot it in my kitchen in hammersmith london against a black backdrop and i took my 16mm bolex camera to bali on a holiday for the other stuff,.it was based on a short film id done which was much darker but it was fun to do, oh well thank you new order for the gig happy days

  • @richardheslop They must have rated you to use you, as you know its the whole package with them (cover, artwork, video), not just the song.

So where you given a brief, or is this straight out of your box (sorry, couldn't resist)?

  • This mix of spooky is the best. and the video is another great headfucker video.

  • Fantastic song!!! 5 stars!

  • Love it love it love it. woooo. Nothing like New Order. Grettings from Puerto Rico.

  • 'Spooky' in it's original version was the first NO single that wasn't fit for purpose. London were heavily milking an already patchy album.

  • @djh29971 Still better than "Ruined In A Day" I think... :)

  • Hey!

What's the name of this mix?

    Please tell me! :D

    New Order Rules!

  • Always liked Spooky but this video and mix...

  • Republic

  • Original is far better!

  • where can I find the original version?

  • @drogbatootoo I so love remixes, but this is at its best as original...

  • i've always prefered this remix. I like what fluke did with Spooky on all their new order remixes. Awful video though.

  • crap remix, original is far better, although

    more moody.

  • I really don't like this remix.

  • I am a huge fan of New Order but man this song sucked, I think it was their worst song, it was like they weren't even trying at all. It was just a filler song on their album. It the most horroble crap I've ever had insult my ears.

  • Couldn't agrree more; I can deal with this tune, but they are so going trhough the motions. Its modern-day equivalent is, I think, "Guilt Is A Useless Emotion".

  • Ahem!!.. PSB?? C'mon man this is New Order not pet shop, altough they've worked together on electronic.

  • double woot :D

  • w[][]t??

  • if you dont get it please dont show you lack of inteligence by posting (woot??) just go l)!3 pls

  • AMAZING VIDEO!

  • I like the CD version waaaay more than this. Not saying it's bad, but I dig the original.

  • Yeah, I 2nd that. The video was cool, although, some of it seemed like nonsense.

  • It should be compulsary for any video that the band hardly appeaers in it and you actually have a creative idea. It just makes for such better videos.

  • The album version is far better.

  • Love this video. That hardly looks like Morris...

  • Ah...remember when videos were good?

    1993 we miss you.

  • Is that Stephen Morris?

  • I kinda thought that too.

  • omg.. super duper

  • Crazyness!
