  • So i've seen this guy's face countless times from reading his articles on blackborder, and realized once he started talking that i had already had hid voice pegged as your standard american nerd. but alas, i was immediately confused with his 'something european' accent.

  • Wall of Daniel..? No son.. DEE-NAY-AL REPEAT AFTER ME, DEE-NAY-AL

  • Belive it or not Free energy is real,But Elite controllers don't want ppl to be free from the costs of energy,Find this technology at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,Join the energy revolution!

  • Unlimited energy sources are out there! But a few ppl make too many billions from our energy needs to let this technology be known,Find a motor that needs no fuel or input at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,Big change is comming soon!

  • Free energy has been here all along ,But the Oil coporations life depends on covering this up,Get the blueprints for a free energy motor at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,Let the revolution begin!

  • "I fOckked them every turn"

Also, Kabira Crossroads issss so seek.

  • Damn that deck sounds spensiiivvvee...

  • is this deck still good without the baneslayers because this decks looks pretty sweet and i want to build it but unfortunatly i don´t have the budget for 4 baneslayer-.- so can pls someone tell me if it is still good without baneslayer? ;)

  • @GreenForceZer0 this deck was pretty much only good in that tournament. The actual meta makes decking strategies unplayable (eldrazi are just a part of it)

  • he looks really proud of his deck. That's pretty cool - looks like he's having fun.

  • just try to win now with all the eldrazi generals

  • "Wall of Daniel"...?

  • does safe passage protect jace too? If so, how?

  • no it doesn´t

  • It protects jace from non-combat damage (eg burn) because to do non-combat damage to a plainswalkers, you must target the player and then you may redirect the damage to their plainswalker when the spell resolves. Safe passage prevents damage to the player, so there is no damage to redirect.

  • opponent : Iona DUde! and i say WHITE, do u hear me? WHITE!!!!

    Joel calafell: WTF?

  • Nice. It's really hard to see the win condition for tubrofog sometimes, but it mills through drawing rather than direct mill. Coool.

  • @Beanybag2 after a alot of turns he's just waiting for he's opponent's deck to get thinner using font and howling mine and because of lots of draws he has sure fogs in his hand so it makes him have control for atleast 6-9 turn and swing archive trap and jace for the win

  • it beats red decks

  • FAIL

  • cant find a way to win game1? dude game 1 is were mill should always win

  • If you know this decks trying to mill the opponent how do you not see the win condition. Play Yu-Gi-Oh

  • Does he plan to win game 1 by using Jace's ultimate ability or is there another win condition I missed? for game 2 and 3 there's always baneslayer, but I can't find any way to win game 1.

  • yes the primary way is to mill them then side in baneslayers game 2 n 3

i proxied the deck and it gives jund problems unless they can hit maelstrom on the howling/fonts but then siding in tezzeret is good stuff

  • You mill them game 1.... archive trap plus howling mine is all you need

  • generic turn : draw lots of cards, play a land, -pass, fog. make your opponent draw his deck.

  • He plays Archive Traps.

  • Swans is not legal in Standard, unfortunately.

  • Jace gets so much hate G2 G3. G1 nobody ever pays attention to him, and focuses on you, but after they realize he's their death, they hate on him so bad. Too bad they can't touch him.

  • mad batchups hahahahaha

  • Haha, 'mad batchups'.

  • 4 Flashfreezes Main?, GENIOUS!!.

  • I love the irony when people misspell genius. But yes, Flashfreeze is awesome

  • Thank god for originality.

  • Sunspring fuck yeah.

  • What's his win condition? I think I missed it.

  • Buy turns, and mill them.

  • Mill. With Archive trap, Jace's ultimate he should deck his opponent.

  • Mill

  • Also known as turbo fog.....

  • This looks like a lot a fun to play.

  • really?

but it was made to be really repetitive, so if ur game plan goes smoothly u should be playing practically the same game every game.

  • One Sick Deck in a Aggro heavy environment. I would probably have Hindering light over the Sunspring expeditions though.

  • He only has 8 fog cards so that wouldnt work vs boros bushwhacker. Need the life gain for burn also.

  • Boros Bushwhacker has one big attack, and then numerous little attacks. You just need to fog the big ones. Soul spring is a good idea.

I think this deck should have problem with monoblack vampires. Mind sludge, malakir bloodwitch and new drain life should kill it.

  • Hindering Light counters Burn Spells. It is also better than Sunspring overall because it protects you from stuff like Blightning and Mind Sludge, which can wreck your game.

  • Both spells target you. Hindering light counters a spell that targets you or a permanent you control.

  • Yeah, it does.

  • Do you think he will care if you blightning him? He has 4 jaces and 4 howling mines....plus the extra burn spells your giving him you need the life gain more then the extra card.

  • very nice deck idea

  • This deck is identical to mine, with the exception of the expedition, crossroads and font of mythos...I'll have to try them out!

  • the same, I dont use sunsrping though, but might just try it out.

  • I really wish he would shut up and let the player talk, everyone knows that kabira is a good card.

  • To be fair, a lot of the time the people he's interviewing aren't very forthcoming with information -- be it nervousness or camera shyness or whatever.

That being said, here I am inclined to agree with you: The guy was very talkative and easily giving a lot of information about his card choices and strategy.

He probably should've asked about Kabira Crossroads at the very end instead of interrupting him if he REALLY felt the need for it to be discussed.

  • I'm just saying, he interrupts everyone and talks about dumb mechanics that aren't that important.

Either way Joel was talking about the deck very well.

Oh and f u to the people that rated me down, I'm sure you wouldn't like it if some guy interrupted you to talk about an obvious card in your deck.

  • I've been working on a deck like this! I knew I was on to something! Arg! But mine used black for Mind Funeral and focused more on Path/Archive Trap to mill.
