Great video. We have also cut the cable with a very similar solution ... HD Antenna, EyeTV and iTunes. Generally works really well. A powerful Mac really works best to "host" your media server. We started on a C2D iMac with USB storage. Wasn't perfectly stable. Now we use a i5-2500K based Hackintosh and it has been perfectly stable over 3 months of continuous service.
