@Hoarphink Thank you very much. These things are really a quick setup since I leave them mounted to the truss and they don't take up any power at all. No more having to find another circuit for the lighting.
@saintchris514 Nope, not in my situation. I play shows for primarily 60+ year old people and the less "SUPER SICK" junk I do the better. I don't want to cause seizures and so on. So, I don't play for kids or young people. So, this is just right my man.
For 149 you could Make the lights look cool and actually have a show instead of running default programs that are not that great compared to custom DMX program.
@saintchris514 Yep, I have 8 different DMX controllers with many shows programmed in. This was posted to show the lights themselves, it wasn't a review on DMX controllers.
@joanmesa They are way cheaper by far on Ebay. Yep, brand new on there for nearly half of what you would have to pay throught Musician's Friend or Guitar Center (Same Company) so, Ebay is the place to get them.
@jacksongarrel I program all of the lighting on the lighting. For a while I let the top half be DMX programmed and the fixtures on my facade on the bottom be ran in master / slave mode and be triggered by the audio. Since then, all has been fully DMX programmed
My pleasure and thanks for checking them out. They are a nice looking and quick setup. I just leave them all mounted and wired up. Super quick rig to deal with.
The ColorStrips and ColorPalettes on top and the Vue III on the floor being aimed at the ceiling are being controlled via a Chauvet Obey 70 DMX controller and all of the Techno Strobes (10 white and 2 RGB's that are mounted to the facade) are being run in sound mode and linked together and controlled by a simple on/off rack mount strip. 2 whites on top are linked together, 2 rgb's on top of the facade are linked together and the 8 whites on the bottom of the facade are linked together. 3 on/off
I would like to go vertical with the strips too, just too easy leaving them wired up and not having mess with them. I'm sure the look would be cooler. I'm running all of the top lighting via DMX and all of the Techno Strobes on the facade are ran in sound mode and linked together.
Sweet lighting rig!

EatMolly420 4 months ago
@EatMolly420 Of course, You Tube pulled the copywritten audio and replaced it with this crap. So, there you go.

Oooo ok. That's cool. But, wouldn't running a super sick custom chase show the lights off better? In my opinion, yes. It would.

Did you have to fully program this?
Or just use presets on different units?

Holy Color pallets... LOL... Looks cool. You running them Via DMX?
I think the colorstrips would look good mounted vertically on the on the Poles for the Truss.
