I have gun sights like that for low light situations, I think the LED bulb cover is designed in a similar fashion as my gun sights to gather light IN from all directions and OUT in only a focused direction?
@BANGERS68 thanks for the reply. Also that little red light in the light itself in your video I don't know what that is. The one i have does not do that. That or I've not paid attention to the front light.
@BANGERS68 I was riding into town using my indicators. It was pouring rain. I turned my light on the next day still wet and the indicators still work but the rear red light has not worked sense. I tried fixing it but still the same as it is now. I still use it for the indicators but had to buy a new rear red light!!!!!! I've got a video of it on my YouTube page called bike indicators.
I was riding my bike into town with my bysignals and it was pouring rain! My lights were working ok till I turned them on the next day still wet. The indicators still worked themselves but the brake light did not work at all. I've not been able to get it to work sense. I still use the light but I had to buy a new rear brake light.
@BANGERS68 there is a problem with the lights you should fix as soon as possible!!!!!!! I have a set and you know those little holes on the underside of the light? Not the holes for the screws! There are pointless holes on the underside and it's not water tight???? You need to make your light water tight as soon as possible!!!!!
I've never noticed mine doing that before. I just checked and they were faintly glowing. As soon as I picked them up, it stopped. Not sure why the are doing that. I will message you one of the heads over Bicygnals contact information. I've chatted with him before and he seems very nice.
I am sorry you are having problems with them. I love mine and I feel "naked" when I ride without them.

It's a dodgy connection mate, it's just when the main beam switch is just about touching :-)

Something like that happened to me when I had one battery installed wrong way in one light I had.
I guess there isn't much more to check on it either without voiding the warranty and such.
good luck
