Love the film and this scene. My only complaint about this scene is that the music is too overbearing and loud and it slightly detracts and overpowers Firth's brilliant speech. If it had been softer, or even if there hadn't been any music at all, I think it would have been a more powerful scene.

Love the film and this scene. My only complaint about this scene is that the music is too overbearing and loud and it slightly detracts and overpowers Firth's brilliant speech. If it had been softer, or even if there hadn't been any music at all, I think it would have been a more powerful scene.

The Soviet govenment, not the people, was as evil as the Nazis and the Russian winter stopped the Germans in their tracks. The Russian people, not the Soviet government, suffered as much in World War II as they did in World War I. Meanwhile, D-Day turned the tide and you can't dispute the facts. Take a history class.

@MultiHLH Further more, Canada joined the British in the start and turned our country into a war factory, by the end of the war we had the 2nd largest navy in the world (only Britain had more ships) and the 4th largest land army in the world! And i dont hate hollywood i just blame them for making there popualtion believe stuff that isnt true.
