  • You want cheap flowers? There they are...

  • I asked my husband and daughters never to buy me flowers since discovering about this and the environmental issues.

  • oh my.... i pity them. make them live a normal life.

  • where is the gov WHERE?

  • This problem is also happening in Ethiopia. Pity those workers.

  • Next time you buy flowers!!.

Women are fired when they are found to be pregnant whilst permanent female worked have to endure miscarriages and deformities.........

  • we need strong workers unions. wapi atwoli?

  • @S'smith: Live Free or Die! whining and acting desperate will not solve peoples problems. People need to say Enough is Enough!

  • Good lord! How many lives has been lost due to this deplorable conditions? If the govn'mt can't protect its citizen then lets deal with them like the boars in south africa.A bullet each!!

  • These workers get what they deserve...being treated like 2nd hand citizens in their own Homeland! They know what is wrong and they damn well know no COTU no Gov't no Changaa expert Mututho or Labour Minister will ever ever come to their rescue.

The power to change these conditions is squarely in these Workers hands..unite and demand to be treated with respect.....or die one by one!

  • Eeeish the title of this video is misleading. This is not slavery. These workers have options. It is not entirely the govt or the employers responsibility for your safety as an employee. You are responsible for yourself and you have options. The problem here is one which is common in kenya, lack of unity amongst these workers. When one complains & get fired there is always another one waiting to get hired. Unionize! complain collectively & watch the exploitation end

  • @se1nl1fe: Yes! Workers either Stand Up or Put uP!

  • @se1nl1fe : This is the square root of modern slavery, a production mode that belongs to the 16th Century, coming back to Africa, Kenya, Land of Petals of Death. The workers lack an alternatively exactly due to the reason you mentioned: Many are waiting to take up the employment. They must cater for their daily needs first, mostly put food on the table for their families. A hungry man is a hungry man. And the man dies under persecution. Revolutionaries are usually the intelligentsia, like you.

  • Very good job Dunkan khaemba please continue to tell the world what our people are going through. This is unholy alliance between politicians and foreigners enslaving kenyans. The other time this same people poisoned lake naivasha and the government just swept it under the carpet
