Hi Dawn,

I have been working with this set and am having the same problem only with embossing. I can't get the embossing powder to spread evenly. I have tried every king of powder and a new versamark pad. Any tips on filling in the splotches with embossing? I tried the sharpie but it leaves a dull look to the shiny powder. Thank you. ann

use a versamarker (it's versamark ink in a marker form) - to touch up those areas, then add powder and reheat.

Thank you. I have been having that trouble. I am pretty new to stamping and still learning. I really have a lot of trouble with the cling stamps when it comes to the splotches. Thank you very much for your help in solving most of my problem.

@charsbabushka I stamp onto a mouse pad, which really helps. Layer: 1. mouse pad 2. paper 3. stamp! Doing this has helped me get better images with all types of stamps. I hope that helps : ) Joan
