Nice video, "Tasty"! I'm not into trance/techno and so-n-so, but I think the music matches the purpose of the video.

I didn't like Civ when I was younger, since I had the same attitude towards it, like some of the kids in here. "I was like" - "Crap- it's NOT AoE, so it must be sh*t!" L0L!

Now that I'm a bit older, I know better and I can see why it appeals to me only now- wisdom and knowledge increases with age(too bad, it took me so long ;) ). Loving these games now!

@MagikProductions99 it depents on two things, 1, the level of skill you have (irl) and 2, what game mode you've chosen (quic, normal slow or epic I think) I complete (win) a game on normal in like 1,4 hour ;)

It looks quite similar to the Total War series, which is not a bad thing. Its just i grew tired of all the TOtal war series, played all of em since Rome Total War.

It just seems like they're trying to make everything easier.. instead of an army they just make bunches of units stuck together and make everything like a board game, it's like they're trying to make it playable for a console or something.

@CooperSnow RTS = Real-Time Strategy. Civ doesn't move in REAL-TIME, there is a big difference. Civ's a TBS, a Turn-Based Strategy game, it focuses more on a global scale than small squad tactics (or armies when it comes to AoE3 or Total War). Long story short, Civ is not an RTS.

my favorite strategy game is aoe2, no offense to others, this is my opinion, if you agree with me then your smart.

civ is just as if all of history is just passing in front of you, and it's supposed to be about history, not futuristic things like nukes and all. and their aren't any real civ in this game...

AOE came out in 1997 as Civilization came out on a DOS system in 1991. (Yes you were probably still in diapers) Sid also borrowed many of the technology tree ideas from a board game also called Civilization, in 1980. Your comparing apples to oranges. Liked your Gameplay =P. Really don't wanna piss you off but I think I may be a little better.... But if you want my advice for cash.. Just build Roads around your town. And most of all the best guide, for me was watching a CPU playing. But I'm not that good too just playing on third lowest level of difficulty.... where I most of the time lose =P. Nice vid again!!!
