I have the piezo mystric dream paintjob JP music man, I absolutley love it, I was a huge fan of ibanez, until i got the JP, after that i sold every single other guitar i own because this one is so universal.

@onixtheone it's majesty by Delirious. I buy this guitar in US as in France it's really too expensive. It's a really wonderful guitar and i highly recommand it, whatever you play, except if you are a pure blues player, but I guess you don't look at this guitar to play just blues ;)

Salut mec, super ta vidéo réellement, le son est une tuerie et tes skills aussi d'ailleurs tu as du progresser en 2 ans et demi, dis moi, qu'est-ce que tu penses de ce multi-effet ? Est-ce qu'il convient sur un ampli à lampe comme le H&K statesman à ton avis ? Pas trop de souffle ou autre parasites ?

Je n'ai plus ce multi effet depuis que je joue sur mesa boogie F30, car j'ai préféré prendre juste quelques pédales à côté. Mais je l'ai essayé avec, méthode 4 cables pour profiter des effets avant l'ampli (compression, wha, disto) et dans la boucles (délais) et j'ai trouvé ça très bon.Il faut prendre le temps de bien régler les différents niveaux et c'est tout bon. J'ais hésité à en reprendre un pour le côté pratique mais j'ai besoin juste d'un overdrive et delai.

don't worry about your soundcard, the pod X3 live will do the job perfectly ! it's a soundcard by itself. My video is made on a laptop with a real poor quality soundcard ...

The Pod x3 works as your external sound card if you plug it into USB. But if you use the line in of your computer you need a good sound card.

Really? Where did you hear this from? I was under the impression it was the same tones, just with a pedal and buttons and stuff for ease in the live setting.

@takethepot well yes. but most of the difference is the quality of the tones. for example, in the pod x3 live they sampled SO MANY amps that sound REAL. Not a like a "modeled amp". The Vox ac30 and Matchless patches in the pedal sound so significant and amazing to the real thing. they really outdid themselves in the pod x3 live. the other pedals are either older. with older, comes not as good tones/recordings of the amps. and they have fewer amp models.

yes, no piezzo in it. I wanted the most simple guitar possible. Only a 3 way switch. I don't spend a lot of time choosing the configuration... but the model with the piezzo has a wonderful acoustic sound !!!!!

I think this guitar seems to be less agressive than RGs, and more versatile. It's stay perfectly in tune. to my mind, it's worth it's price. But on this guitar, you can hear every detail of your playing, you need to play properly. but what a feeling when you put your hand on this neck ...

my advice, if it is not too late.. TRY THE INSTRUMENT first. there's huge differences between each and every guitar even if it's one and th same type or model!

I also played on the musicman. I really liked it. the sound is better. But an rg with some nice dimarzio´s in it is awesome to.

hey man. as far as i know dnt quote me but his appears to be the cheaper olp model. i dnt knw how gud an rg ur talking about cAUSE THEY RANGE from cheap horrible ibanez to grt shred beasts. presumin gu want to compare to a ebmm petrucci then ur probz lookin to compare to a higher spec rg like a 2550z or something. i won a rg2550z myself . its grt pic ups weak though. its a lot cheaper than the ebmm and the neck is a lot thinner. ibis have jumbo frets ebmm-medium

I'm sorry but you can buy the Petrucci model with or without the piezzo. It's only an option.

I would have the solid bar on the DiMarzio Drop Sonic facing the bridge, but I probably wouldn't have bought that guitar because it has a synchronized tremolo.

I put one in my Washburn MG30 a week ago. They sound great this way. I first tried it with the bar towards the bridge. It gave a dark tone. I guess it wouyld also depend on which guitar you have. Whichever you choose I hope you have success. It is a GREAT pickup.

I think you should try it. According to me, this tremolo is as good as a floyd, and so much simple to use. I don't konw about the D-Sonic, it sounds good in this position, and it was like this when i bought the guitar.

you can pull up, but not as much as the floyd rose.

I make it record to the computer but also sound out of my amp through the Phones output so I can hear myself playing.

Yeah I know I was joking, but the piezo is a cool feature for electric guitar because you can play acoustic guitar solos like a CHEATER.

Yeah, and you can blend the piezo and the pickups into two separate amps which can both be recorded at the same time and it sounds really cool.

Real acoustic guitars always sound more real, it makes sense, and Taylor is a good brand.

maybe... the sound was made for playing on an poweramp and cab with 2*12 Vintage 30 ... and was recorded "as this"... so not perfect for sounding on a pc...

no, there's just 3 position, neck humbucker, bridge humbucker and between those two positions, the two pick-up in split position, sounds like a strat in the middle position.

You don't need any audio interface. just a USB cable between pod and computer. Through an amp, it's not the best, you'll have to try because it can be really bad or quite good... depending of the amp.

the distortion sound are from a mesa boogie simulations (dual tone with dual rectifier and triple rectifier), and recording directly through USB. clean sounds are from fender deluxe simulation i think... I don't remember the software I used for recording, sorry...
