Yeah , if the enemy use insignia, Go vanish and wait or attack , You have 2 vanish with preparation , The CD of shadowdance long 1 or 2 minute i don't remember now.

@TheDenjoh NEVER start a fight with shadowstep exceptind very rare situations , wich are usually found in arenas.

Premeditation , Sap , Ambush , Kidney , Ambush x2 or x3 , Cheapshot if want to hold the opponent there (rare cases) , eviscerate and this is how a shadowdanec sequence should look like. Again , A SHADOWDANCE SEQUENCE , not your whole duel.

I used to play a subrog since wotlk came out. After the nerf all you got is an 8 sec (glyphed) SD. The best way to complete a whole dance is to set yr action bar properly. By doing so you can mostly stalk a target one a minute. Also I never ever use a PvP set. I aim for as much atk power as possible. I use DB's will + a heroic Whispering Fanged Skull. One dagger in mongoose for even more power. Premeditation and Shadow step are opening with a cheepshot, so you get 5 points right away.

your suppose to watch and learn from the video hence the duels. secondly there is no "rotation" when you pvp it is all situational, but if i had to create a "rotation" for pvp shadowdance it would be, cheap shot, hemo, backstab (if u have energy), kidney, backstab, wait for energy to get up close to full then hemo again then shadowdance/ cheapshot + 2xambush

sorry i disagree, there is a rotation.. and i play a subtlety rogue.. and every single fight against melee, my rotation is garrote>hemo x3> rupture >vanish > prem>shadow step > ambush > kidney shot then finish him off with hemo.

Shadow Dance is crappy unless you have top notch gear & lots of practise on it.

Mutilate will beat it in most situations, specially if your not a very exped rogue.

If you ARE a mage and you don't use a rotation against certain classes then that's just silly :D. 3. That's a very bad rotation, judging on what class it is, if it's against a clothie the rotation would be:

Premed>Cheapshot>Auto-attack til ful engery>Kidney shot>Ambush x4 = Dead.

Against plate/mail:

Premed>Cheapshot>Expose armour>Backstabx2>Vanish>Cheap­shot(4 combopoints)>SD>Ambushx3.

I do not because im a bad rogue, but u should use a weapon switch macro forhemo and to switch back to daggers for backstabbing/ambushing. and i didnt use imp ambush because it seemed like bad choice at the time. but id rather put the 2 points from waylay into imp ambush

well since they have another bar for Sdance its not too hard, i got a macro for sdance on G, it's

/equipslot 16 "name of slow mainhand"

/equipslot 16 "name of slow dagger"

/cast shadow dance

build combopoints with hemo with the mainhand and you can still ambush with shadowdance with the weapon swap macro, just hit it again after shadowdance is overto put your slow mainhand wep back on. (dont spam it!)
