Philadelphia (PA) for example, doesn't allow people to skate in public property, but excludes side-walk, public roads (street, high way)and bike/skateboard path. However the police in our city don't know too much about the ordinance...they just follow what they think is right/wrong aka they think they are the law.Check your ordinance,if you are skating legally, and a police try to accuse you of illegal action, get his badge #.

i know the guys, from essence, the rider name is remi, he was only riding, but it's now forbidden to do any downhill on the royal mount (exept for the competition) he start the ride, and the police start to chase him afterward, but he went so fast, he couldn't stop. He did not had any tickets but he claimed he did not knew. beleive me or not, i dont give a fuck

Des policiers ne conduiraient JAMAIS de cette façon seulement pour attrapper un skater! C'est beaucoup trop dangereux et risqué. Remy (the rider) got caught by the cop, but he didn't got the ticket he was supposed to have. It's forbidden to downhill in the Mont-Royal cemetary.... even on the whole mountain since a biker died in an accident. Beleive me or not, that's the story.

ktruste, this IS one of the 3 cemeteries in Montreal's Mount Royal northern part, but the police car definetely wasn't from here! Plus the siren sounded like a Hollywood movie, not at all like the ear-tearing ones you hear everyday downtown and the surrounding 'hoods.
