@FredIsMyName22 Good point, although what really set modern shooters was golden eye. That started shooter multiplayer and headshot does more damage then body shot and so on. Halflife kinda took other rlements and improved on it. I do agree though hl had a huge impact on video games.

Companies such as OnLive allow you to play powerful games without having to buy a better graphics card ( It's like watching someone else playing a game but you are controlling the person)

Onlive is a good service but the quality of the gameplay isn't astounding.

@Fyatter I dunno man, Valve has built a reputation of not only taking mods and making them their own games, but taking the old developers and actually helping them develop the game. Look at DotA 2, it's a game people loved as a mod and now it's getting a full game budget and the person behind it gets a shot at actually making a nice set of money.

Not to mention the tremendous support for indiegames, they let PZ use their servers for updates and a DRM for nothing. Pretty kind if you ask me.
