Ok im a kid i didnt play with my TFS for a while I stopped collecting them And then i saw the variates And they are Not meant for show they are meant for our enjoyment But hasbro doesnt care about us at all Now do they?
I'm using a tripod in this review. It is, however, manned by a 9yo camera girl. I think she does great for her age - she's still learning how to pan smoothly.
From what I have researched, it appears to me that, because Hasbro is so all-encompassing as a toy manufacturer, especially in the States, it doesn't have to worry about building up brand loyalty. If my boss hates TFs and never wants one again, that's okay. He'll probably have to buy another Hasbro toy for his son as he grows, from Star Wars to GI Joe to all the various properties they own. It really hurts the Transformers that they aren't run by a toy company that lives & dies on them.
In essence, they are encouraging people to be toy foragers, grazing randomly on toys according to our childrens' whim, rather than toy miners, sticking with a brand, such as Tonka (before Hasbro bought it). The way the movie super-hero toys have poor articulation, parts that fall off and are generally shoddy just demonstrates that all Hasbro needs is for a toy to look good enough to sell. Beyond that, they don't care. You'll buy something of theirs again, because you have to.
GREAT REVIEW! i really want this guy, i have the original noisemaze version and i totally agree , how is a kid supposed transform it easy and play with it when us adults have trouble - or am i just getting older lol
Yeah, my boss's mother-in-law bought his son an Animated Soundwave. It took him 5 minutes to transform it and the legs kept popping off. He was so frustrated he said he wished it had broken so he could toss it. He's now hoping his son forgets it on a shelf. That is a crazy amount of hate for a parent to have to feel about a toy - something is wrong.
i remember when i got animated soundwave, i was in and out of the instructions for ages as i couldnt work out he chest piece, why do they make transformers that are not fun to transform - deffo something wrong
i could transform him faster than you and im 10 lol

I responded to this based on bGressman's question below... or above... whichever direction it ends up being.

I added comments to this video. Apparently several people saw this fast enough to miss them. Just FYI.
